The mentorship program for the spring of 2018 was first sent out in the middle of January 2018. There I send out an email to my mentor the first week. I was then given a reply back from another mentor that I might have gotten the wrong mentor email. I quickly search up my correct mentor and send out the email the second week which is the end of January. My mentor did not reply back to me until the 12th of February. She mentioned that her schedule is variable at United Hospital and she is working that week at the hospital. During that week I have a few exams and thus I emailed her back saying that the following week will be a much better time. I emailed her on that following week. She did not reply back to me for a while. I send her an additional email the week after on February the 26th of 2018. Again, I did not get a reply back from her. On the 5th …show more content…
She didn’t reply to me for 3 days. Before that, I send an email to Cristy Choi on the 2nd of March about the inability to get a reach of my mentor for the last 3 weeks. Christy Choi responded immediately and the issue was solved which is a great reliever. I met with my mentor Marcy Hartford during spring break. I first met her on Monday. I was already familiarized with the hospital due to previous exposure. I met Dr. Marcy Hartford in the open lounge of the hospital first floor. She escorted me back up to her office which is a small room in the corridor of the hospital. Her room is roughly 10 feet by 10 feet and it is her office shared with another pharmacist who completed her residency there. I sat down, and we
She tanked us and said will contact us if she needs help with her certification
Ryan, she was supposed to contact you to explain her situation, but I’m not sure if she spoke with you yet.
She had sent out over 100 referrals and has received 65 no, three pending, and 32 no response.
During my two last years of high school, i've been in contact with a lot of colleges and universities. Many of which don’t get my attention. Throughout my whole high school years, there was only one college that i wanted to go to, Liberty University. I have heard so many wonderful things about Liberty and what i loved the most was that it was a christian school. Liberty had the number one thing that i am looking for in a college, that is a christian school, but many of my other things that i look for in a college where just not there. I used to live in Florida approximately 11 years ago and let me tell you, it's hard not to miss the sunshine state. Liberty is in Virginia, a state where it doesn't feel like home. When i received a brochure

As a former mentor for ABC Learn, a non-profit agency providing additional literacy training to at-risk students, I was taught to take pride in building a strong relationship with the students and families who face numerous problems from social and economic integration.
In today’s society, it is easy to research our role model’s favorite colors, past relationships, zodiac signs, and many other unimportant facts, but it is difficult to find the most useful information: Who were their mentors? Our role models inspire us and help shape our identities. I have personally looked up to transgender activists and Jewish leaders at my synagogue. I have been inspired by the opportunities and freedoms these mentors have created for me.
My senior project began with me stepping into a unique and exciting world; an adventure into modeling. I found myself wanting to learn everything regarding becoming a model and ways to break out of my shell and into a new comfort zone. The goals I planned before I finalized this project is to be in my first personal photo shoot, why? I loved seeing how rewarding it is to be photographed, and the self-esteem that builds within. The beginning of this project I had questions about what sort of person I am now and how I will shape afterwards, my road to gain these answers by how much work and effort I can accomplish this summer. My progress so far hasn’t been enough to modify my mindset into a people person professional, this has made shape into

When registration time rolled around in fall 2015, I only needed 12 hours to graduate in May; however, I knew I would be bored and yearned for a class that was meaningful and would end my college career on a positive note. When Dr. May mentioned the mentoring at-risk youth class I was hooked. Although he tried to talk everybody out of it, I knew that this was going to be a perfect fit for me. I have always enjoyed working with youth, whether it was through coaching cheerleading, volunteering in the local elementary school, or spending afternoons at a halfway house for abused and neglected children. By signing up for the mentoring program I was able to try something I had never tried before— using my love for youth to create a lifelong one-on-one
After we signed off with Cammie we yipped and hoorayed for a while and went home. More tweeting ensued and when I got to my desk today I received a email from Cammie that she would like forwarded to
Senior project has definitely been a defining moment for me in my high school career. Senior project is basically a project all about what you want to be when you grow up, along with a few extra topics. I chose neurology and The BRAIN Initiative as my career and topic. I accomplished many things throughout this long process. I also gained so much knowledge about neurology
“Oh, my goodness,” “Wasn’t it so funny when Mr. Speranza split his pants in class today?”
Throughout my educational experience I noticed the discrepancies with regard to the advantages my peers possessed. In high school as I began exploring what career I wished to pursue, I experienced inferiority as my classmates who’ve taken the ACT three times, visited college campuses, and have had resumes ready since the 6th grade unintentionally mocked my lack of college-readiness. However, my ignorance wasn’t intentional, my parents never reached a high school education in Mexico, they couldn’t pass down SAT tips or acquire internship opportunities for me. I realized it's vital to pick up the pace to avoid being left in the dust akin to countless others in my situation. Henceforth, this statement resonates with my experience, I interpreted
One day, while I was doing a hike with a group of cub scouts on the Rail Trail, I had come out to see the Milford Conservation Commission running their annual Ghost Train Race. I waited for all the scouts to get picked up and then I was ready to leave myself. When I looked over to the race, the finish line was in disarray, wind blowing tents over and papers everywhere, warm fire meant to keep the racer’s body temperature up was dying, and a constant struggle to keep up with the incoming racers. Knowing a representative from the Milford Conservation Commision, I decided to go help with the chaos I saw before me. Feeling the stabbing of thorns as I jumped into the bushes after papers and the constant panting from finished
