As far as true passions go, I've always worried about being a lousy artist. This was evident in the time I was assigned to design my team's logo for our Race Car Club's first competition. Graphic design was untouched territory for me along with leadership as I was not only the artist of this club but also the president.
I gracefully accepted the challenge brought on by my peers. It was no secret that I was the best artist in my high school due to my countless awards from art shows and endless recognitions but I still lacked the confidence to put my ideas out there. My artistic eye wouldn't get me anywhere in life; I thought it was essentially a useless talent as the world needs more than beautiful portraits and artsy doodles.
On the day of competition, my inner perfectionist is set at ease when looking at my finished product. In front of me was a complete remote control car with my

It needed to be smoothed out to make the finest lines as possible or in it's case, it needed to glide efficiently in the air. With only an x-acto knife, tape, and a tupperware cover, I cultivated an undertray system that would create smooth air flow between the car's framework and the road. When set to the test, the RC car crunched crucial seconds in the race with this innovation. In the end, we set third place which was unexpected for it being our first competition.
My creativity allowed me to compose solutions that most people would'nt. It dawns on me that an artistic view of the world is not only a significant aspect of myself but also to those around me. This experience allowed me to embrace my talent and encouraged me to utilize it rather than trying to suppress it with uncertainty. I don't worry about the authenticity of my art anymore because to be an artist, it's important to love every moment enough to persevere through the frustration. This is what makes the destination worth the
For a long time I aspired to become a teacher of the arts. I had always felt it was my duty to share my passion with others. I wanted not only to teach individuals about the color pallets VanGough idealized, but also to show in times of need how art can be your best friend. Whenever I find myself caught up in the mysteries of life I turn to my sketch pad and there I find clarity. It may not always result in an answer but creating art simplifies the heart.
I found a use of my artistic abilities that is useful as a career in the future, all thanks to my curiosity and creativity.
It was my freshman year of high school when I took Drawing A; I quickly learned that I had a skill that I had previously ignored and began embracing it. Sophomore year, though, was when I truly started using my art. It was during this year that I received a 4 on my AP-Studio Art portfolio, and won four awards at Scholastic Art and Writing in photography. Art gave me a feeling of accomplishment that I didn’t usually get in the rest of my academics, so I always tried my
In this pursuit of art, I’m constantly researching or dialoging with multiple artworks. Sometimes my own, sometimes the works of others. The past couple years I have felt a little more limited in my dialog with art, mostly due to time constraints while being in school and working. A similar sentiment shared by many students who are experiencing these difficult times, I’m sure. This lack of time to fully advance myself in the art that I’m trying to practice is trying, but does not make the task completely impossible. My choice to advance my career as an artist through the pursuit of a secondary degree was one of the best influences to my art. Surrounded by a strong community of incredibly talented and helpful staff and colleagues has elevated my work beyond what I could have imagined. Advancing my level of higher thought along with it.
“The artist is the compass which, through the raging of the storm, points steadily to the north,” said by Romain Rolland. If people could give an accurate concept of art , then it was better to say that art gave the artist a firm goal and motivation. At a young age, I did not have a deep understanding of art. In my memory, drawing a few pictures of comic and having art classes in my elementary school in China that was the closest way to learn art. Although I liked painting, I did not choose it as my major in my high school and university without the support of my family. However, fortunately I had a good chance to live and study in New York with my family in the winter of 2014. If I could not learn painting that was a kind of regret in the first two decades of my life, then I might have the opportunity to make up for this regret in after years. I was very grateful to the art to bring my enthusiasm, so I could firmly choose the art design as a new professional in QCC and have more opportunities to learn about art.
It was a normal friday morning here in Dallas, I walk out to my condo balcony to breathe in the the fresh hot air, with a hint of cut lawn clippings. It is a perfect day for a parade through downtown Dallas with Mr. Kennedy. I walked over a few rooms to do my routinely check on Mr. President, and as usual his confident self just shooed me away and told me to do my own thing. I begin to start my breakfast that I usually cook for him and his family when we are on campaign. The overwhelming smell of bacon and eggs drug Kennedy out of his room over into the kitchen to eat some breakfast. Still in his PJ’s and all he does the same as me and walks out the balcony and shouts out that it is going to be a great day. After I eat my delicious
Today we just pulled into the race track in florida or Palm Beach International Raceway. The forecast does not look very good for racing this week because it has already rained all over the track. So we waited like 4 hours for them to get the track dry for us to be able to race safety.

After our hour and a half drive that should a been two hours, we were in the city. Most of the lights in the sky were planes. Most of the skyscrapers managed to simultaneously look exactly the same and completely different. There was hundreds of cars on the road, and no one seemed to know how to drive. This was the city I
Unfortunately, this lasted from 6th grade to my freshman year in high school. I began to see artwork online that caught my interest, helping me back on the trail of visual arts. Shortly afterwards, I began registering for classes that would benefit my skills in art. Even after nearly four years of being on artists’ block, students and teachers school-wide have noticed my potential.
Newton’s first law explains an object in motion stays in motion unless a net force acts on it and an object in rest stays at rest. Our balloon car followed that law. While it was waiting to go it stayed exactly where it was, until we put the air from the balloon out onto the car. The car went across the floor until it became to a stop, because of the friction between the car and floor acting on the car. For this reason, I feel four features that you need to have a successful car are 2 wheels, something to hold the wheels together, a lightweight car, and having everything be positioned right. Although, there are some features you want to avoid. Such as, not having anything drag, bad type of tires, and using an excessive amount of glue.
Art has always been my favorite subject but there was no exception to it. Visiting art galleries and gazing at beautiful artworks, or even seeing amazing drawings of my talented friends, I unconsciously compared myself to others. In the midst of giving up even on art, I came to realize
I got my first major exposure to cars when I was two years old after I received a PlayStation and a copy of the driving simulator, Gran Turismo. At the time, my only objective was to press the gas, and hope that my straight line speed would somehow win me a race. There was no balance in the way I handled the car, and this resulted in me crashing often. Despite this, the game still jump-started my passion for cars. My passion for reading developed as I browsed through countless car books and car magazines. When I got my first laptop at age seven, I would sift through websites looking for articles on proper driving technique and racing strategies. However, despite my inquisitive nature, I did not have opportunities to immerse myself in the physical world of
If you asked any person what my passion was, they would tell you it was drawing. Although I really do love drawing, it will never be my passion. My passion is to create anything and everything. I love I.A. because not only do you get to think up any reasonable project, but also you then get craft it by yourself. To many, this may sound awful and hard, but for me looking at the outcome is worth every splinter and cut. Not only do I love I.A, but also knitting, painting, drafting, drawing and much more. When I make something, whether it is an object or a drawing, I feel a huge rush of accomplishment. One day, I dream of drafting and helping construct buildings for a living. If I was able to wake up everyday and make something new that would benefit
