One positive thing about the job, is that the job is that it has good pay. It may not be a six figure job, but the pay is enough to support your family. Another pro is that you are not sitting behind a desk. You are being active instead of sitting around all day. Another great thing about this job is you get to help people feel better in life, while at the same time you will probably feel like a good person for doing so. The best part is that I love exercise so I would enjoy the job. Now with every set of pros there are bound to be a list of cons. One con of this jobs is that eventually you won’t be in the same physical shape you once were which means you will have to switch up the way you work. Another negative thing about being a PT is you will have to take multiple smaller courses and tests to obtain all the certifications you need. Sometimes you will also meet arrogant or stubborn clients who ridicule you or don’t want to help you help them. The last con I have is that the benefits may be touchy depending on who you work
I had a hard time finding a career. All the careers I came across did not interest me at all. Until a friend came up with the idea of the career of athletic training. That is when I started my research and my interest grew greater.

Becoming an athletic trainer has always been a dream of mine since picking up lacrosse in high school. Becoming one is a very rewarding career with helping out athletes every day. They are the first person there when something goes wrong, and help aid recovery to get that player back on the field again. I have been constantly learning about new areas where athletic trainers are needed, however, high school has always stuck out to me. After doing research on the salary, schooling, certifications required, job setting, and the advantages and disadvantages of the career the idea of becoming one has become a huge dream of mine.
Besides paying for schooling, they get paid to be a apprentice, around $34,000 a year for 3 to 4 years (Electricians apprentice salary and wages). Being around sports my whole life has made me have an interest in athletic training. What really started my interest in athletic training was when my friend got injured during a football game. It turned out that he had a compound fracture in his right shin. Right when the injury appeared, As he was trying to get up I was there to hold him onto the ground until the athletic trainer made it to the field. After shadowing an athletic trainer I have learned that there is a tremendous amount of paperwork and filing in this profession, after shadowing an athletic trainer, you realize it’s not just taping ankles and sitting around.
The most interesting part of the job to me was that it had such a positive outlook on job growth. Employment of physical therapists is expected to increase 39 percent from 2010 to 2020, much faster than the average for all occupations. Demand for physical therapy services will come, in large part, from the aging baby boomers, who are staying active later in life than previous generations did. I consider this to be perfect timing with my graduation being in the prime of the growth in this occupation.
USciences gives me the opportunity to attain higher education. By attaining higher education, I will be able to apply the knowledge and experiences I have gained in the workplace. Furthermore, USciences provides a great opportunity of various clinical settings, hands on experience, and allows me to be a part of a diverse group of individuals within the community. I believe hands on experience in various clinical settings will enhance my ability to provide better care for my patients. By enhancing my abilities, I will feel more confident in what I do in the future. Like any other career, I feel like it is important to feel confident in your job. For example, with physical therapy, patients are trusting the physical therapist to provide the best

Being a Pediatrician is a wonderful way to help children in ways most people can not. Many people say this job is very difficult to handle because it can get stressful. They say there is not much room for personal time or family time, but in the end it can be quite rewarding.

You may remember last year for my very first blog, I listed 5 types of personal trainers you should avoid. This year, I have expanded that list to include other types of personal trainers that you should avoid. These trainers are often much less obvious to spot. You may be several sessions or several weeks into your training before you discover what type of trainer you truly have. Depending on what you are looking for out of a trainer, one of these trainers may end up being perfect for you. However, just because they are perfect for you; they can still be, at best, a distant match for the requirements of many other clients.
