You can’t wait to get started, it gives you a sense of purpose and destiny, you know that
God is going to heal you mind, body and spirit, and that what has happened is that God have taken your nightmares and turn them into stuff that dreams are made of, and you have to smile and pinch yourself because you can’t believe that this is your life. You realize that life is too short to live with regrets, so you start fresh, you brush yourself off, and start again, and you live your life to its fullest.
Afterthought
The point of every experience is to test our ability to learn and to grow from it, you can look back and thank God, because he said he will never put more on you than you can bear. You can smile in the midst of your tears, you can feel the tears scrubbing the hurt from your soul. You will be left with battle scars, but you are proud of them because they will remind you of where you have been and what you have been through, and where God is taking you, and so the only thing left to do is to look up, smile and whisper, “Thank you God.”
Rules to live by
Never make someone a priority in your life when you are an option in theirs.
A man should not validate you, he should be an extension of you, and you him, you are his help mate, a man should not define who you are, you should have already determined that.

Dear Past, Present and Future Me
Dear Past,
Let me first say how sorry I
In 1983, Raymond Carver introduced his short story “Cathedral” to the public. The first-person narrative takes place within the narrator’s home, where his wife is waiting upon the arrival of her blind friend Robert. The narrator, however, becomes more concerned about how Robert’s visit will affect him rather than enjoy the situation. Once Robert arrives, the narrator tries to understand the blind man, but he is unaware of what tasks Robert is capable of performing due to the narrator’s inability to “see”. In time, Robert shows the narrator the difference between looking and seeing through illustrations of a cathedral, drawn by the narrator with his eyes closed. “Cathedral’s” narrator exposes readers to anti-heroic views
Never make someone a priority when all you are to them is an option. ~ Dr. Maya Angelou
A huge turkey piping hot on the middle of the table surrounded by stuffing, mash potatoes, cranberry sauce, bread rolls, and corn on the cob. I always thought everyone had the same type of Thanksgiving. Where everyone gets their turkey, drowns the turkey in gravy, and sits down to watch the football game. Too my surprise, that isn’t how it is for my classmates. I realize now that Thanksgiving varies in every household

Being an athletes is one of the best-paid jobs on Earth. Being that they are paid so much the cost for the consumer is very high. The cost of college tuition is continually on the rise and has placed many burdens on high school students as well as their families. Some of the burdens that are placed are a result of parents putting pressure on their children to earn scholarships. Some of the burden is a result of students putting pressure on themselves to earn scholarships. Then, there is the burden of high college debt once the student graduates. Is this pressure really helping our students or is it hurting them? The bottom line is college tuition is skyrocketing out of control and something must be done before it destroys our families and our children.
It’s the season of fall, almost winter. The leaves turn into a mix of all types of orange colors and the change of decor your mom brings to the house to advocate the time of Thanksgiving or the foods you’ve been waiting all year round to just smash your face into. That’s what I think of when Thanksgiving comes to mind! Out of all the holidays: Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years Eve, ETC; my favorite one of all would be Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving is a time where the problems you had with your cousins, fights with your parents, and even the disconnection between your other family members, when it’s Thanksgiving day though, all those problems are left at the door step.

Are you thankful for something? Well I am. I’m thankful for a roof over my head, good health, and family. Being thankful is when you express your gratitude and relief to others that do a lot for you. You can show someone you're thankful by doing the littlest things. So this Thanksgiving show someone how thankful you are. It doesn’t even have to be Thanksgiving, you can thank someone anyday. You can show thanks by baking cookies for a loved one, or you could even just tell someone thanks. I hope you take what I just told you, and go thank someone, because it’s not that hard. Now I’m going to tell you what I’m thankful for and why.

“Your assignment is to write a persuasive essay and present it to the class in a week. You will be graded based on how convincing it is. Today we will be choosing topics,” announced Mr. Bowerbank, my 7th grade English teacher and ruler of classroom 110. My class simultaneously groaned at the prospect of work. I simply lifted my head with intrigue as it was already May and about time we had our first essay. He then proceeded to give examples of topics we could choose and gave us some time to think before we had to tell him our topic. My classmates were already rushing to tell the teacher their idea lest someone else steal it. That meant the usual abortion, death penalty, or drug use topics were out. I really couldn't think of anything and the teacher was slowly making his way through the remaining students like an executioner beheading criminals in a line. I have always thought that he would make a marvelous supervillain if he had a curly mustache, a tophat, and a cape. Eventually my name was called. I slowly dragged myself over to his desk. Even sitting down, he still seemed to tower over me. “What is your topic Cindy?” As usual in such desperate times, my mind turned to food. “Waffles are better than pancakes.” I figured that a waffle was just a differently shaped pancake with a nicer texture. “Hmm. Excellent topic. I look forward to your essay!” I survived to live yet another day.
So far in my life many things have happened, some good, some not but I realize that all that I
Why spend money that is really needed for other things? Why live uncomfortably? Why be trapped in this hole called a home that belongs to another person? Why not live free and peacefully? When a person rents he or she usually throws away money that could be used to purchase something that belongs to them. Money is not easy to come by so why pay out hundreds toward something that is not benefit to the person paying it out. There is no good explanation for making a decision like this. The best option in a situation like this is to buy a house. Buying a house is a better option than renting an apartment.
Throughout a majority of history up to this present date, we have come to rely on science as a means of explanation behind the reasoning behind many things: mathematics, chemistry, physics, and biology. When regarding the subject of a greater entity or supreme being, the quote “Where science ends, religion begins” can be used to explain that there are things in which science cannot possibly hold the answer to, and the only reasonable explanation behind these things point to a greater being. Acquiring this newfound knowledge has altered my viewpoint on God, going on to strengthen my faith and belief in God now that I had been presented with scientific proof that God must have existed. There have been times throughout my life where curiosity had overcome me and I found myself asking whether or not God had actually existed, and now that I have been presented proof that he exists, all of my doubts have been washed away. There are three major areas in our universe that science cannot provide an explanation for, and can only be proven to be possible if a greater being had come into play. These topics included: the beginning of the universe, the design of the universe, and the complexity of our DNA.
