I believe that a dog park would be an excellent idea for Muscatine, Iowa. Not only would a park benefit the dogs but it would benefit the owners. A dog park would help in raising and caring for the dog. Dogs should be able to play and be free in a space that they will be safe. Not everyone has the space available at their homes. Some people live in apartments that don't have the yard space needed to let the dog run around. Expecially with bigger dogs. They need a lot of room. I can understand why people would be opposed to the idea though. There's always a chance of a dog harming another animal or human. Dogs can carry diseases, fleas, lice, and other harmful things that can be transfered to humans and animals. But if you let yourself
I think dog parks are a good idea. Dogs need alot of exercise and play time. Many cites and urban areas just dont have the room for that to happen. But there are optoins there many open unused lots, and empty building that could be torn down to create these places. I am a dog owner myself i live in the country were open space is abundant. My dog Neno can run a play all he wants it's good for his health and mental state. When he doesn't get out he gets cranky and chews thing around the house. I grew up in a city of five millon, so i know how hepful a dog park can be to dog owners. You should always have your dog around other people, and animals,
Muscatine, Iowa, do not build a dog park! Building a dog park would endanger the lives of your people living in the city. Pets are their owner's responsibility and dogs are loud. A dog park would drive home owners away.
According to one article '' That 37% of americans who own dogs often look for a dog park when choosing for a place to live''. With dog parks everyone would benefit. Without a place to take dogs they may never socialize much and can become aggresive.Though a good point can be made that dog parks can be loud at times. I still believe that dog parks are needed.
One one hand, the general benifits of a dogpark in an area like Muscatine is incomparable to those of any other public service facility. With a whopping 68% of citizens living in close proximity, such as appartments or rental units, there just isn't much space to let dogs run free. It would be easy for a dog to let that energy build up with no release. This play space would not only help ease the struggle of a yappy next door neighbor, but allow the dog's owner peace of mind as well. I know from experience that coming home to a fuzzy, wound up ball of energy can be exausting day to day. A place to exert all of that energy is benificial to all.
The roaring of the engines. Yellowstone has been and always will be one of the great American National Parks. Yellowstone, however, is facing the problem of pollution. The pollution is affecting the quality of life the animals in the park need and are used to. Snowmobiles should not be allowed in Yellowstone national park, due to the detrimental effects it has on the park.
In my opainon I think that Muscatine should build a dog park. Because it would be good for the dogs to be able to get exercise. Bad behavior from the dogs could be pervented. Also it could raise property values around the communite. I will be telling the people why we think it is a good idea to have a dog park with the explains that i have listed.
Dog parks are a staple of urban and suburban areas, a place where dog owners can congregate and converse about the local gossip, or goings-on about the neighborhood. Over the past 12 months, a group of people have come together to propose allocating land for a dog park in Weston and tensions are running high.
My city or anyother city could do without a dog park if they don't already have one. In "No Dog Park for Muscatine" it say that "It would be a burden for taxpayers and a lawsuit waiting to happen." I agree with this the citizen in my town would have to help fund this project no matter if they support it or not.
Public dog parks have proven to improve the health of the animals, decrease dog-related attacks, and increase the population in the surrounding area of the dog park. While concerns over the comfort of the surrounding residents comes into question, many of those issues may be resolved with appropriate laws set into place. For these reasons, I believe builing a public dog park would be a positive addition to the
Many men, women, families, and roommates have some kind of dog as a pet, but what else can dogs be rather than just a companion? Studies show that when owning a dog it reduces stress. Yes stress! Not only does owning a dog reduce stress but it can prevent heart disease and high blood pressure. It’s healthier for everyone to have a dog because having someone to be there for people gives comfort, prevents sadness or depression and loneliness. Even though dogs can just be pets, they can also have important jobs like guide dogs, search and rescue dogs, and war dogs.
I believe that we as a state should we deside if that's a good idea or not. I think this way becuase there are many perspectives that you have to take in. You have to know how many people are in you town. You also have to know if you have enough space for a dog park.
I believe most if not all cities should have a public dog park. Since I was nine years old I have always owned a dog. I have lived the city all of my life as well. Living in the city there is many apartment buildings with little to no yard space. To keep a healthy and friendly dog the dog needs exercise and play dates. Because most pet owners in the city have no yard space for these activities. a public dog park is the perfect solution.
I fully support the idea of building a dog park. As many cities have leash laws which keep the dogs from getting the excersize and socialization they need. When a dog does not get the space and socialization it needs, its behavior can waver. Dogs can become agressive as stated in the passage, "A Dog Park Benefits All". Therefore getting a dog park would keep dog related injuries on the lower end of the spectrum.
In my own opinion a park would benifit all. I am a dog lover, as well as many others. I think it would be wonderful idea to have a dog park. So families as well as their dogs could go enjoy a day at the park. So i feel that dog parks will benifit all.
Shouldn’t all animals have the right to live? Dogs could receive and give happiness if they were not put down. Animals do not really have a chance to actually live life. Many places simply do not have enough room for all of the animals, so they resort to euthanasia to control the population. There are many dogs and cats that are euthanized only because they take up room.
