Evolution is far more than our ancestors coming from apes. It is more complex than we think. The ideas we have about evolution and the facts we have learned are ever evolving itself. We do not need to fear what it means or that we do not have all the answers for where exactly we come from. There are many parts of the scientific world that is lacking the pieces of information. That being said, there is plentiful evidence that evolution is how we got to this very place. While we may not have complete evidence to prove evolution as fact instead of theory we are continually making strides to support the claims made. Carl Zimmer, of the New York Times, interviewed with scientist to discover that, “Scientists still puzzle over exactly how the transition from sea to land took place… The waterfall-climbing cave fish, Cryptotora thamicola, has even evolved many of the skeletal features that our ancestors made for walking, including a full-blown pelvis.”(Zimmer) Up until this discovery fish had never been found in this skeletal system, yet here they have discovered a rare species of fish that have evolved and developed the ability to walk because of their build. It gives researchers confirmation that we as a people could have evolved from sea dwelling fish to land mammals. Take a look at your mouth the next time you get a chance. Upon close inspection, and comparison to other mammals there are many similarities. Scientist Zhe xi- Luo found that, “Modern mammals, including

What is evolution? Evolution in modern terms is fairly easy to understand. Evolution is the theory that life on earth began with a single celled organism that lived more that 3.5 billion years ago that slowly evolved into
When we hear the word "evolution" most people probably picture an image of a chimpanzee that is slowing morphing into a human over several hundred years. Some people might think that evolution is ridiculous, how could we have come from monkeys? The theory of evolution, I believe, is one of the most important concepts for people to learn. It explains what we descended from and where we came from as a species. The overwhelming evidence to support this idea is almost irrefutable. Evolution is much more complex than "we came from monkeys." Adaptations in traits and genetics over time have influenced almost every species and continues to this day.
I completely believe in evolution, my Dad always answered my questions with a well thought out answer, but my Mom would always quote the Bible. When I was young I would ask my dad what his perspective was on Christianity, he said that when he was young, his family would go to church, they would pray, and go to Bible studies, however, he did not think about evolution and Christianity in general until he was in college. My mom, on the other hand, was raised believe in Christianity, she is the reason that I go to Rehoboth. My views are different from both of my parents, I think that we need evidence to prove anything, we cannot believe in an old book that was written by copious amounts of people. In science there needs to be proof for a hypothesis to be considered real, in other words, if I were to say that the earth was a black hole, I would need proof or evidence, that is clearly not true. I have absolutely no evidence to concur that the earth is a black hole, although we do have clear evidence of evolution. A vestigial organ is an exceptional example of evolution and adaptation. We as humans have numerous vestigial organs, one of the most well known vestigial organ is our goose bumps. These bumps were once used to make ourselves appear larger when we were frightened. Also, they were once used to maintain a constant core body temperature by trapping a layer of air in between our skin and hair.
The only way to stop the manslaughter of endangered species is to have everyday people and governments take interest and action to save our environment and help endangered species by protecting them and their habitats. We need to stop the killing of animals and destruction of their habitats. Without meaningful governmental support to maintain the environment and save endangered species, we will not have a way or real means of stopping the extinction of animals. We need laws and penalties to stop the slaughter of animals. I picked to research the Bengal tiger which is an endangered species. “It is the most numerous of all tiger subspecies with more than 2,500 left in the wild.(worldwildlifepg1) ”.
Evolution has been taught in all public schools for as long as many can recall. Though the process of evolution is not the only theory, schools have been teaching it as if it is the complete truth, ignoring other aspects and only focusing and targeting on Darwin's theory of Evolution. However, there are still many other ideas that the students should be informed of as well because all are theories, all are hypothetic. Teaching of the evolution theory have yet to be proven reliable and confirmed by all scientists, thus it should not be taught in schools and should be left for students to wonder and discover by themselves.
Evolution is something that can be taken into different meanings, from the way you live. Some people can accept evolution and some can’t. The meaning of evolution is the way a different animal or species came to be, and how they are linked to a different of species that all share a common ancestor (an introduction to evolution). There is a lot of evidence to shows that evolution is can be proven like DNA Sequences, Fossil Records, Cladograms, and analogous/homologous structures, because there are so many ways to prove that there is evidence for evolution, but I 'm only going to discuss four of them.
There is proof of this evolution all around us. Man itself has evolved over thousands and thousands of years in direct relation to the changing environment surrounding them. There are facts and proof to back up the theory of evolution, but that does not mean that it is the only way that explains development of living things.
Evolution is a change over time in species to adapt to new environments. Evolution has been a known fact now, but not all people believe in it. Some believe that evolution is a myth, or a lie. There is evidence that evolution is real.
Evolution is a way of thinking how everything started. The world began with evolution, so no one can change that now. All science classes teach students to use scientific thought but it's impossible to use scientific thought without evolution. Evolution was the whole start of science. So, without evolution, there would be no scientific
Deciding whether or not you want to know more about your genetic makeup is a very personal decision that may seem like an easy one, but it’s not. As direct-to-consumer genetic testing is growing as an industry, it is becoming easier and cheaper for people to learn unique personal things about themselves, like ancestry composition, food preferences, and physical features. However, these tests can also inform people of genetic predispositions to diseases. Although some people believe that knowing all of this genetic information can be dangerous, monitored DNC tests can be very informative and beneficial.
Everything you know is compiled around evolution, even your understanding of evolution. If we want to understand ‘evolution’ and what context I am using it in, then we will have to go back to the beginning of time. Time started 13 billion years ago, in a small point less than the size of one millionth of the tip of a pen. For disputed reasons, this small point started to rapidly expand in all directions all at once. At the 10 second mark of the universe’s life, it had cooled from 9 million degrees kelvin to about 4
“The diversity of life on earth is the outcome of unsupervised, impersonal, unpredictable, and natural process of temporal descent” (Patrick 1).Why would you believe in one side of a controversial argument when most of the evidence points to the other side? Evolution versus Creationism is still a very controversial argument today in public schools. Creationism and evolutionism in public schools have very convincing arguments and good reasons to why and how one is simply prefered over the other, but which theory is the most probable? Both theories have different ideas; creationists believe the concept of design requires a Creator, and while the principals of design are applied to living organisms, like you and me, evolutionists find it a perfectly reasonable explanation to believe God didn't create the earth.. Creationists also generally believe that all organisms were created by God as we see them today.
Evolution is how a species changes over time due to natural selection. There are many pieces of evidence proving evolution and that we all came from a common descendant. One piece of evidence of evolution is fossil records. Fossil records are remains of live fossilized in rocks, wood, bones, or frozen in ice or trapped in plant resin. Fossil records show evidence of evolution because some fossil recrods look reallt similar to some animals alive today, which means that they slighly evolved to survive in the new enviroments that mother nature introduced them.
Despite what mankind would like to believe, humans are animals. As multi-celled organisms, we consume other organic matter, change the land for own uses as a beaver would build a dam, and as other mammals, we are all fed breast milk from our mothers when we were young. Yet there is this disconnection and alienation of the human race towards other species. Moreover, through fear of taking action, the convenience provided to us if we simply choose to ignore the environment, and the alienation of other species that are endangered by our actions, the hostile and uncaring attitude of humans towards nature is the core reason for many of the problems in our environment today.
