The idea that everyone has to go to college in order to get a good job has been engraved into students minds for decades but is this really the case? As a student going to a high school that is building us up for college, you would probably think I believed college was important, but you would be wrong, just as wrong as it is to believe that college is the only option. Over the next few paragraphs, you will understand this reasoning and learn why college is not the best for some.

In her article “Is College for Everyone?” blogger and college professor Pharinet discusses the value of a college education and debates whether or not it is worth it to pursue a continued education. The author’s purpose for writing this article is to attempt to change a popular societal opinion that it is necessary to attend college in order to succeed. She argues that there are students who are often unprepared for the challenges and responsibilities of attending college, but attend simply for the reason that they are expected to. She challenges the idea that “college is for everyone” and encourages college students to question how beneficial a college education is for them personally.

The cost of college and how to pay for it is an ongoing struggle and problem for many people around the nation. There are so many aspects of the adventures of college that cost thousands of dollars and leave a big hole in all parts of the financial life. Although getting an education is very expensive, it is essential in most cases to living a successful life and providing for yourself and a family. There are many people willing to help individuals keep track and focus on how to manage money and spend it wisely like Mr. Renzetta, and there are also people making a huge effort and raising awareness to reduce the price of college dramatically in hopes of what they believe is saving our great nation.

Congratulations! You have finally finished high school, so what do you do now? Do you go off into the real world, or go to college? College is a huge investment, but is it really worth it? Well if you don’t have the proper education your life will most likely be more difficult than a college graduate. College is valuable and you should attend it.

College is not very much for everyone and doesn't have to be. College is not worth it because parents tend to put too much pressure on their children, it is very costly, and tends to takes up a lot of our time.

Is going to college really worth the cost ? Attending college should be about getting a higher education and figuring out what career students would pursue that they would enjoy after graduating. Most students do not know what they truly want to do with their life. Which can be a very bad venture, especially since college is so expensive. Although opponents claim that college is a good investment, it honestly is not worth the cost because it does not guarantee employment, it burdens students with student loans, and it does not prepare students for the workforce after graduation.

From our previous feedback sessions, I remember you telling me that you wanted to go to college with your GI Bill after your enlistment was over. I believe that waiting for education is not the best route. I think it would be better if you would take classes while you’re still in the Air Force because it will save your GI bill for higher level degrees

Another reason why college isn’t for everyone is because of how expensive it is. Today, to get a even a four year degree, you pay a lot of money. Even though colleges are expensive, not all expensive colleges have the best education. “The biggest frauds are for profit colleges that are raking in money even as their students drop out in droves, and whose diplomas are barely worth the ink jets they’re printed on.” This is saying that people can pay large amounts of money for college, does not mean they will learn anything. People who go through job trainings tend to learn more things quicker than actually going to college. Basically, getting a degree is not only pointless for jobs today, but can also be very expensive and useless to go to.

If you had the chance to go to college for free and pursue your dream would you take that opportunity? This should be offered to kids who really want to pursue a degree and are serious about college, there will be guidelines to ensure that student will be responsible with this opportunity. This could change the life of someone who cannot financially afford to go off and pursue their dream, this could give them hope of getting their dream job; College can be very stressful emotionally and economically for some people, but with free college they can be relieved of their stress. The idea is that everyone should be allowed the opportunity to receive a higher education, it would relieve them from the financial situation when they graduate, and more jobs can be taken with people that have a degree and knowledge of the field.

Once highschool ends, you will think you are already done with school, and you can finally be free, and you are kind of right. However, your college education should not stop at high school, as high school only teaches you a few things. Going to college will teach things outside of just learning some basic math and writing formats. College will prepare you for life as well. By going to college, you will earn more, be more employable due to your accumulation of knowledge, and you will live a healthier life. College is not for everyone, but if you prefer a secure future then it is suggested to go to college. By pursuing business without a college degree, you could lose all your money and everything you have worked for at any moment if you are not cautious. With a college degree, you can earn a decent salary with a secure job.

For most kids, the end of summer is a devastating time. It is when freedom is exchanged for a desk and a chair. Many school-aged people hate the start of the school year. In contrast, since the time I was a little girl, I loved the start of school. I begged my parents to go back-to-school shopping… at the beginning of August. Every semester there is a fight to find a parking space on campus. I began Northshore Technical Community College in the fall of 2014 at the Hammond area campus. With enrollment increasing rapidly, Northshore relocated the business department to the North campus of Southeastern Louisiana University campus in the spring of 2016. There is limited parking for freshmen. The parking area, we can use is assigned to the overflow of the upper-classmen. Even though driving a car to campus is convenient, riding a bicycle to school is a more practical option for some commuter college students since of the amount of parking spaces available to students are limited.
