The following is my philosophy of command was created in hopes of providing a clear vision of where I want Battery K to be at the end of my tenure as Commanding Officer. This will serve as the guiding document of where I will focus my energies and the energy of the Battery to make things happen. Proficiency. As artillerymen, we posses skills that are extremely perishable. As such, we must exercise our skills often to remain proficient and ready. We will strive to achieve excellence in both technical and tactical fire direction. As the echelon in which technical fire direction is computed, we must ensure strict adherence to the five requirements for accurate predicted fire. Shoot, move, and communicate with an emphasis on shooting, both
I believe that the purpose and challenge of guidance is to help the child in the developing process of self-control and responsibility in practice. Positive, strong relationships between adults and children are key to a child's social and emotional development. It is very difficult to build any relationship without specific purpose and understanding of child development, without partnerships with family and staff’s interactions. Teacher largely combines, models and directs all of these components for better assisting to the child and his/her family.
Independent, reliable, and multi-talented, SNO has hit the ground running and performed extremely well as a firing battery executive officer. During 10th Marines Regiment FIREX, while serving as the position commander, MRO expertly supervised over 15 emplacements and displacements, both day and night, and the accurate and safe firing of over 1,000 HE projectiles, all culminating in The Battery earning recognition as 2nd place during the Regimental Top Gun Competition. Over of the course of the exercise, accolades received were a direct result of SNO’s force of will and absolute drive for success. Additionally, Lieutenant Holliday made effective use of platoon commanders, which enabled him to remain well aware of all battery issues and provide
Sometimes people needed to relax more often. They’d spend time with their friends or family, or even their lover. But for Erwin Smith, he hardly ever relaxed. Since becoming Commander of the Survey Corps five years ago, he’d spend his days nearly the same. He’d be reading over the stacks of report documents that were constantly being delivered and signing them, or writing out important letters to be sent to the government officials like the Commander-in-Chief.
The Devine Command Theory is a theory that states that an action that is morally good is one that is determined by God. Theism is belief in the existence of a God, especially a belief in one God as creator of the universe, one that has a personal relation to his creatures. According to Shafer-Landau a theist should reject the Devine Command Theory because a morally good God would command things because they are right. This means that God would have to recognize objective moral laws and instead of being the author of the rules would have to acknowledge, enforced and be pass on by God. Many people believe that there are objective moral laws. Objective moral law is a set of rules for a behavior that cannot be changed. This is opposed to relative morality, which is the most common form of morality practiced in today's world. For example, objective morality would say "Do not murder innocent life." There would be no exceptions.
A market economy is the type of economy in which people and firms control the factors of means of production and act in their own best interests to answer the WHAT, HOW and FOR WHOM questions. A command economy is an economy in which a central authority owns and/or controls the factors or means of production and makes most of the WHAT, HOW and FOR WHOM decisions.
My reasoning for missing The Awards Ceremony and Change of Command is because on Friday I had been stuck with a very bad migraine, I wasn’t feeling very well that entire day. I tried to get a lot of rest, I drunk water and took some pain medicine, knowing I had I big day ahead the next day. On Saturday morning, I woke up and I had been breaking out in sweats and I also had a very bad fever. I got up (which was also hard to do because my muscles were aching) and took some Theraflu and some antibiotics the doctors gave me from my last visit to the hospital, I also went to my RA’s room to ask if she could take me to to get something for my fever, but she insisted I lay back down while she went to go get me food and other things to eat because
It is imperative for all teachers to meet each student’s needs to enhance learning. Providing teacher’s support, loyalty, in meeting their individual needs will enhance a school’s chance for success. A supervision and leadership philosophy that incorporates diversity, multiple learning styles, motivational strategies, procedures, and rules that are designed to optimize each student’s abilities that enhance potential and drive a continual need for knowledge. When students are in an environment that is safe, clean, organized, and structured will allow them to focus on knowledge, instead of being distracted. Providing well designed lessons and activities developed around learning styles of abilities will promote confidence and inspire a desire
It is important for us humans to know that we must take full responsibility for our actions and maturely deal with any consequences that those actions may lead to. According to Ryon and Gleason (2013), “the first conceptualization of control was developed in 1966 by Rotter,” which is currently referred to as locus of control. Rotter defined locus of control as “the degree to which an individual expects that a contingent relationship exists between one’s behaviors and outcomes” (Ryon & Gleason, 2013). Fournier and Jeanrie reference Rotter’s study by explaining the two types of locus of control: “external control” and “internal control” (as cited in Rotter, 1966, p. 1). The purpose of Rotter’s theory was to examine “what causes
Unity of command is a principle of management that provides a hierarchy of subordination. It ensures the responsibility of an employee to only one supervisor. The employee takes orders and is answerable in all his/her undertakings to that specific supervisor. On the other hand, the supervisor to the first subordinate is a subordinate to another more senior supervisor and the chain continues until the most senior supervisor. The importance of this principle is that, it is the foundation of an incident management system.
In my opinion, from the two articles read I do not believe that the sentence of 5 months in prison that Ms Vinson received coincided with her level of involvement. Ms Vinson was the Senior of Corporate Reporting Department; for two years she chooses to continue to misrepresent and inflate figures that were to be used on WorldCom Financial Reports. Perhaps in the beginning it was strongly encouraged to her inflate the figures by Mr. Ebbers so that the Financial Reports would be favorable for WorldCom. And perhaps she convinced
The game I played was called Executive Command. My character was the president, and my job was to execute numerous tasks. One of the tasks was to delegate laws. I would receive a letter in the form of a checklist, and I had the choice of either passing or vetoing each policy. Then, I would bring it to the correct department, and delegate it. In addition to the laws, I had to meet with other world leaders. Some other small tasks were to speak in the state capitol and win the people’s favor by expressing the right facts in various speeches. Furthermore, I had to make decisions throughout a war. For example, the war I played through was with Vadeem, and I had to choose which type of defense to send during each situation. All the while, I had to
In a garrison environment, good Army leaders in the past knew the technical and tactical features of their jobs. Garrison leaders normally trained their platoons or squads on their tasks. Many are the times that these leaders were expected to use their technical expertise through the creation of PowerPoint presentations with the aim of teaching their subordinates and peers by giving them a visual presentation of what was required of them to properly perform their tasks. Garrison leaders used to conduct rank inspections by checking the uniform cleanliness, Identification tags, serviceability as well as asking of general military questions. The current leaders must
The basic economic problem is scarcity. It occurs when people want infinite but resources are limited. Scarcity is due to limited resources because people want more and more. Resources are shortage and have alternative uses. There are three causes of construction such as land, labour and capital. Scarcity is the excess of human wants over what can basically be produced ' '.
