The pro-choice movement is a sociopolitical movement that supports the view that a woman has a right to terminate her pregnancy. In the United States, the pro-choice movement is led by a variety of organizations, with no central decision making body. While these groups have different agendas, they collectively use propaganda in order to communicate with certain demographics and influence support for their cause. The goal of pro-choice groups is to target their message towards women between the ages of 16 and 39, otherwise defined as women who can potentially become pregnant. The organization's electoral exertion comes as it combats increased defunding efforts in as a result of videos by a pro-life group depicting Planned Parenthood staff members discussing fetal tissue donations. While the group’s website has yet to officially endorse a candidate, the website does state that Senator Marco Rubio of Florida supports a ban on abortion with no exceptions for victims of rape, that Governor Jeb Bush of Florida cut state funding for Planned Parenthood, and Senator Ted Cruz of Texas lead the national effort to shut down Planned Parenthood earlier in 2015 (Huffington Post Planned Parenthood). One example of this was in April 2014 when NARAL Pro-Choice America was able to convince Google, the most widely used search engine in the world, to remove web search ads for some “crisis pregnancy centers,” due to what they believed was “deceptive advertising” (WASHINGTON POST Google). Before they were removed, advertisements for crisis pregnancy centers would appear when someone would search the phrase “abortion clinic” on Google, however, NARAL Pro-Choice America contested that the goal of crisis pregnancy centers were to provide clients with information about alternatives to abortion. Upon reviewing the case, google removed all advertisements for crisis pregnancy centers that coincided with abortion clinic searches on their server, creating a victory for NARAL Pro-Choice America over their contrasting
