While taking the political quiz, I learned about many political issues and debates. I researched many of the questions, due to the fact I honestly had no idea what some of them where, wanting to form a real opinion on the subjects to make my results accurate as possible. My results ended up being pretty accurate, I do agree with my candidate on many platforms, although there are a couple of thing that I would do differently. My results showed that I agreed most with Donald Trump. There is much controversy over the current president Donald Trump, many do not agree with him. Many despise him to the point of wanting his presidency to fail, whether it’s good for our country or not. Mr.Trump’s main problem is that he has no finesses, or adequate
I would say that this is quite an accurate representation of my political ideology. Despite not having all the same views as the majority of this group holds, I deeply align with many of them. For example, this group is slightly more conservative and leans toward the Republican party, but holds the opinions of both parties, which is an accurate assessment. I believe that I am mostly conservative, but I also hold a lot of mixed views espoused by both political parties. The Young outsiders are largely skeptical of activist government, which I believe to be true, which proves the quiz results accurate. Environmental and liberal social policies are also supported by this group, many of which I also support, once again, consistent with my results. This evidence proves that I am consistently aligned as a Young Outsider based upon my own personal views which agrees with the results of the typology
These past few months, America has been in a great state of turmoil due to one of the most controversial presidential elections in history, the outcome of which has left the country divided with the question of whether the surprise presidential elect, Donald Trump, is actually fit to be president. He is one of the only people in this nation’s history that has managed to become the presidential elect without being a career politician or having any background experience in that area, and that alone deserves at least a little bit of recognition. For as long as anyone can remember this country has been ran by politicians who have time and time again disappointed the American people. The huge amount of distrust that has built up over the years is why the people began to demand a change and chose a man with no real experience. He is brash and outspoken, yet the formality is just one example of the many changes that are going to begin. While there has been a lot of debate over whether or not presidential elect Donald Trump is fit for office there are positive points to his election such as his views on imposing congressional term limits, bringing jobs back from overseas, as well as his stance on immigration and Obama Care.
On the political typology, I was scored as a Next Generation Left who has liberal attitudes on many issues.
I am attracted to the Democratic Party. I took the political party quiz and answered the questions as honestly as I could. I found the questions to be very interesting and versatile. After viewing my results I looked into The Green Party some more. I am basically an environmentalist and believe taxes are affecting the lower classes and something needs to be done about it. I agreed with all of these issues.
I somewhat agree with the results of this quiz. I always knew I feel politically right, even very far right for that matter. However, I never saw
While taking this quiz, I found myself frustrated with the questions. All of the questions dealt with hard social, economic, or political ideals, and in my opinion there were only two options: far left or far right. Take the question about environmental protection, for example; I would have said that the government is currently doing the right things in regard to the environment—it shouldn’t do more, nor should it do less. Other questions I wanted to answer both. For example, the government is wasteful and inefficient most of the time, but it also can do a better job than people give it credit for. I
There’s no doubt that Donald Trump has been leaving his mark on this world, although with one insensitive act after another he still manages to one-up himself. His plans for this country as stated during his campaign, in 2016, are far-fetched. Even though most promises made are not going to be fulfilled, we still can’t help but wonder when they are going to be fulfilled.
After taking the, Political Party Quiz, I checked the results and found out I stand very far to the right on the political spectrum. This surprised me mostly because the majority of my family falls further on the left side. Researching the issues on the quiz soon after I realized that I have been exposed to many of these prior to the quiz. While on some of the issues I had a sure answer, there were quite a few that I hadn’t really ever heard of.
The concept political perspective would be best to understand this issue because it would depend on the beliefs and values of a person. Political perspective is basically the point of view of a person. Andrew Scheer was pushed to apologize for calling Mp minister Catherine McKenna a 'Climate Barbie'. After Andrew Scheer posted a tweet about the climate Barbie issue the liberal party tweeted "Has anyone told @AndrewScheer’s Conservatives that sexism has no place in Canadian politics? #ClimateBarbie" and after that Andrew Scheer posted “As a father of three daughters, I want to ensure that gender-based stereotypes have no place in Canada or Canadian politics,”. Also in the article, Catherine McKenna posts a tweet on how that we should have more
It was appealing to see the comparison of where I view with the point to others. The Political Party Quiz showed that I am a moderate Republican, which I am not I am Democrat. . I am an Independent. It means different things for different people. The quiz resulted Independent because I agree with some of the Republican views and a little of the Democrat views .I found the questions had answers that were not easy to answer. With four choices given I tried answering truthfully as possible... I don’t think it reflected my true feelings. I do feel the quiz could have added more grey area questions. The where do I fit quiz was the best because it signals if you have selfish or manipulative tendencies. On the question asked about Poor people have
The United States (US) and the global community await the inauguration of elected President Donald J. Trump this coming January. The new incoming president is the result of Republican Party backing and the voting power of the people who voiced their needs to see major change in the US political system of government. As the American public await the allocation of 15 presidential cabinet positions, one cannot help but question the ability of the president elect to take the US to a positive and prosperous direction. These questions arise in light that Mr. Trump, though a leader in the real estate market and a focal point in some areas of the media, has no working military or political experience. Thus it is my belief that the policies of the US will be driven by the experience of the executive cabinet and the general directives of President-elect Trump. The president-elect ran on a populist platform touting opposition on illegal immigration, Current international trade agreements like the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) and the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) (Emery Jr., 2016) and a reversal, opposition of current policy, of key security at home points such as a buildup in military force and missile defense, removal of gun purchasing restriction and right to carry laws (Gilmer, 2016). The affirmation of President-elect Trump’s resolve will be solidified by his administration and the embodied experience that will be used to support it. But what can this new
“You have to think anyway, so why not think big?”(Trump) Donald Trump looks at things in a very different way. Like the quote above, it seems like common sense but it is not. The average human would never even think like that. He kind of looks at things different. This is why I believe the Republicans are supporting him. They want a guy to change things around and I believe Trump could do that. So in this essay I will be explaining positive and negative things on how Donald Trump does things.
“His power, his passion, is the fabric of America. And it’s woven by work ethic and dreams and drive and faith in the Almighty, what a combination.” (S, Palin) Donald Trump is powerful, persuasive and risky. As a candidate for President of the United States, Trump stands strong to purported morals. His campaign video depicts him as the “ultimate candidate”; an individual is who has the ability to stand up for middle class American’s yet be strong enough to institute change, which the Obama administration has been perceived as failing to do. However we are also able to see how Trump has used his power to shape his ideal self into something he is not. Someone who uses codes and signifiers in his favour to fabricate new ideas and conventions.
The campaign I volunteered for was Ian English's campaign for judge of Lucas County Common Pleas Court. The place I volunteered was at the Lucas County Democratic Headquarters on Madison Street. I volunteered three separate times: Monday the seventeenth, Wednesday the twenty-ninth, and Monday the third.
What is political ignorance, but an insecure and feeble man who allows himself to evolve into the weakest form of a man- a road for another to drive on, a chalkboard for another to write on, a badge for another to hide behind, an entity for another to regulate? I see a society conditioned to be a mass of political ignorance, yet never more-so than when a general election comes stomping into the arena. The citizens that already finance their own demise are expected to fork over money to quasi-revolutionaries and their cronies; then following this, they do their “duty” as a serf and pour ink over a box on a piece of paper just to save themselves from the other box on the same piece of paper.
