Think about it: how much soda do you drink a day? Do you really know what you are drinking? Is it really worth it? Sodas can affect you more than you may think, and we all need to be more aware of how it can affect you and what is actually going on in your body. Research shows that sodas are harmful for your health, as well as addictive. Sodas are continuing to hard people in their everyday lives. If you don't believe me, I can prove it because in the article "Aspartame/ Amino Sweet and other Artificial Sweeteners", it indicates "According to Teresa's doctor, the artificial sugar Coke puts in their drinks is extremely habit forming and destroys the bone density" ("My wife"). In Teresa's busy schedule, she never thought a few sodas would affect her, but even her doctor is advising her against this habit forming drink. Not only can sodas cause you to become disabled, erode your teeth, and affect your well being with an ingredient that was once illegal, but it can also cause you cancer and disease. If you drink sodas moderately, then you should not worry about getting these problems immediately, but the best option is to not start drinking them a day so you will not get attached. Not only should you consider heart problems, diabetes, and cancer, but the same article states, "People who drink soda on a regular basis tend to consume more calories each day than those who do not, and typically experience weight gain", so you can add this to all the disadvantages of delicious sodas (Sefcik).
