During my process of writing the argumentative essay I had some concerns and barriers since I do not know what exactly this type of essay entails. Throughout my education life I have mostly wrote fiction stories, narrative essays, and informational essays, but I was never well introduces to argumentative essays. Having two essays introduced at the same time made it confusing and difficult. As usual starting the essay was the hardest part of my writing process. I had first planned to start with my introduction but I wasn't able to think of good ideas therefore I decided to start it until the end. In order to make my process of writing the essay easier I first took notes to gather all my ideas. When I took notes I separated each idea into a

Education has always been a priority for most households because students were raised thinking a higher education equals high paying jobs, but is that really the case? This thought had definitely settled into my mind, but times have changed and so have I. We live in a day and age where students have to be lured into choosing a school based on how luxurious the dorms are or how big the gym is, and not so much on newly renovated science labs. What happened to attend school for education? For some careers, obtaining a college degree has no use and they’re better off spending money on a trade school or finding a job and gaining experience specifically catered to their profession instead. The lack of interest in college students during class shows that college is not worth the high cost and debt that can delay a person from buying a house or saving for retirement.
Many people dream of going to a well-known Public Four-Year College when they think about their future. But, for some, Community College is the only option. “ The Benefits Access for College Completion (BACC) initiative was a multi-year initiative designed to provide community college students with access to a full range of public benefits in order to reduce financial barriers to college completion.” (Duke-Benfield) This initiative took effect for people who attend college and have families to attend to at home.
College is an expensive and time-consuming choice, in which energy and effort must be exerted in. David Leonhardt argues that attending college and securing a college degree is worth the debt. However, Chris Matthews argues that even with a college degree, the crippling debt does not outweigh the pros of obtaining a degree. I believe attending college and obtaining a degree is worth the effort and debt for a rewarding job.
Tuition costs in the United States have increased significantly causing many families to opt out from attending prestigious four-year universities. According to Flynn, “Today’s college graduate leaves campus with around $35,000 in student loan debt, and when you include interest payments, they’ll end up paying $42,385 over the life of the loan” (Flynn). In an effort to reduce the debts among individuals, students should consider attending a Community College as their educational experience prior to enrolling at a four-year university or as their career pathway.
Is college worth it? Many people have their opinions on the subject, most people saying college isn't worth it anymore. Most people can’t handle the debt and think that a degree isn’t worth that hassle of it all. I disagree with those people, a college tuition and an degree is totally worth it in the long run and it outweighs the debt.
Great question Amanda about the what results would we see nationwide if all states chose to incorporate the Common Core Standards? To look at the big picture of the Common Core State Standards Initiavtive, the purpose is to create a standard set for all students in the United States. When talking about the Common Core State Standards and how they affect students and educators we must remember where this argument started from. In the 21st century of learning Barth (2004) reminds us that "we are not just preparting workers, we are preparing citizens. It is our interest ,then, as much our responisbility to make sure that all our young people are prepared for the furture."
Aguiyi 1 Is College Worth It Essay. People say that college graduates have higher employment rates and bigger salaries because they will have more work benefits than high school graduates and better children and happy family. People would be debating that college is not worth it because college tution prices have been rising since the economy has been bad and people say that college loans is too high and delays graduates for employment.
Even though tuition costs are rising drastically, individuals should go to college in order to get a higher paying job and preferable education level. In my opinion, college is worth the expenses for various reasons. According to “The 5 ways ed pays”, those who attend college help form a stronger community by having a higher chance of voting, contributing and volunteering. College also provides opportunities that are not available to those who have not received higher education. Not only do college graduates have a significantly higher chance of getting the job they desire, they are also half as likely to be unemployed.
In high school, students were required to write based off of prompts and answer the question with evidence given by teachers. The essay prompts were clearly written and the papers were usually no more than three pages with only two exceptions in my high school career. Essays and papers were given to let students involve themselves with a certain topic, mostly by means of books read. Only once in high school was I given the opportunity to write an argumentative essay on a topic of my choice. Papers that I turned in followed the standard paper writing procedure with the thesis and introduction in the first paragraph, then followed by body paragraphs, and then ending with a concluding paragraph stating my side or my view on the topic at hand.
Normally, I would attempt to refrain from using the words “I,” and “You,” but this being a reflection, I decided that it was necessary since I am reviewing my own work. I am going to examine my work by my Paper Rater score.

In this society of scratching and winning mega Jackpots or investing in your talent and earning more than a brain surgeon will ever earn in a life time, many parents today worry that their children might abandon education in search of alluring horizons that promise wealth without a college diploma. If the young people would stop to think about it, only a very small percentage of the population have such luck coming their way. College is and will always remain important because somethings, some experiences in life not even money can buy but a college can make you experience and reason like a diplomat. Ultimately, what is at stake here is the young people who have abandoned reality for utopia. Student loans and lack
The first level is “remembering” the first thing I need to make sure when writing an argumentative essay is to remember what I will be writing about, in order to be able to write in a clear way and stay on topic.
Since the advance of transportation let people can travel more regularly and easily, it also affects to the development of hospitality and tourism industry. In the recent decades, the hospitality and tourism industry are playing the vital role in the social life, especially is hotel and resort industry. However, there are some challenges that hotel and resort have to face.
