manner within my course by working with the band and communicating in a manner in which they would see me as a professional and not some random person who’s contacting them to use their music.
Open Doors: 50/50 Promo
Working with open doors my group and I had to film on 2 Saturday nights to film for a promotional video. My roles for the first and second event was working as a camera operator to get all the footage whereas others in the group focused on photography and some of the audio. I have acted as a professional when working with 50/50 events to make a small promotional video for their new event when we went to the event we used ID cards to show we were working as a group as media filmmakers and we also made sure we didn’t use profound language as to show a band reputation of Level 3 films. With 50/50 events, I worked alongside

I also think that overall I should have a different attitude towards my clients with me doing them a favour and not them doing me a favour as a student/filmmaker as any publicity is good publicity and without my products, they won’t have any output for their events, music, and products. Working as a professional is a key to moulding my future career in media as the more experience I gain now and the better reviews and feedback from clients I get the better I will ba able to get multiple jobs and get larger as a
My conception of the class, before entering, was that a struggling writer turned professor would be going to great lengths telling us how to write and how not to write. Of course, with me being a veritable writer who happened to need to take a writing related course not for the improvement of my writing, but for the acquisition of the credential. I was going to stubbornly disregard all reproaches, suggestions, and ‘improvements’ and trudge forward headstrong in my unalterable style.
Overall, I believe that I appeared professional. For instance, I clearly communicated my thoughts/ideas and answered the questions thoughtfully. However, in my opinion, I appeared a bit nervous. Thus, I would certainly continue to practice my interviewing skills to ease my anxiety and nervousness and subsequently exude a more confident demeanor during interviews.
This year, I am a part of the AMS First Year Intern Council. Having enjoyed my time as an Intern for the Queen’s Journal as well as learning more about the AMS and its services, I am very interested to continue my involvement with the AMS. Thus, when this year’s Generation’s Committee Chair talked about her position at one of the AMS First Year Intern meetings, I became very interested to learn more about this program. Due to my past involvement as well as my passion to serve seniors, I strongly connected with this committee’s aim of incorporating Kingston’s seniors into the Queen’s community as well supporting them through outreach programs.
Tucked away in Sonoma County is Westminster Woods, which has played a significant role in mentoring me into the leader I am now. In college, I attended a weekly worship, which included an individual sharing his or her testimony, and I saw this as a special addition to the high school conference. I introduced this faith reflection time at the Woods, allowing campers to hear from their counselors and leaders about faith. However, once testimonies began, the wheels came off the wagon quickly – I had listened to speakers share a piece of their faith succinctly, but now our counselors were sharing their entire life story, rather than focusing on transformational points. Soon, counselors were only willing to speak if something traumatic had happened
On May 25th I was the officer on E15, with Driver Engineer Ryan Anderson and Firefighter Nathan Hawkins. At approximately 1834hrs, we responded to a reported stroke at 274 Hood St with M9. We arrived first on scene and began patient care, assisting a middle-aged woman who was sitting in her carport. I do not recall her specific complaint, but do remember that her symptoms did not support a differential diagnosis of stroke and we therefore treated her as a non-emergent patient. FF Hawkins and I assessed the patient on the carport, taking vitals and obtaining pertinent history. During this time it is likely that the patient or her daughter requested transport to GMC-Duluth, however I cannot recall this exchange occurring with confidence. Once
I enjoyed identifying and communicating with patients eligible for clinical research studies. My goal was to help create and administer protocols to improve health outcomes, an important dimension of health care in a fast-paced Emergency Department (ED). While conversing with a diverse population of patients, I strengthened my interpersonal skills and learned how to react to adverse situations. My dedication towards improving their wait time and experience in the ED led my supervisors to nominate me as Chief Research Associate of a study aimed to enhance the discharge process. I learned effective leadership and teamwork while working with twenty peers to implement the study’s

This memo covers certain areas of my life such as previous writing experiences, career goals and the steps that I plan to take in order to achieve my goals. Along with the explanation I will also include the factors that have influenced my future goals.
I have been told by several colleagues and supervisors that I am definitely a private practice therapist that does well working from a holistic systematic approach to do in depth work with clients. I have noticed this with some of my clients that I have seen for almost a year now. I have reflected back on the first couple sessions I had with them and how far we both have come collaboratively. I feel a sense of accomplishment for my clients and for myself. It definitely is rewarding. The clients that I see are not the typical clients that people think come into therapy with behavioral issues or couple relationship issues. I see clients with severe trauma that have been passed on from generation to generation. I even had a client yesterday
Before I participated in the practical application service I was very nervous and worried that I would no do well. Although I was nervous I knew if I was going to make mistakes that this was the time and place to make them because it would allow me time to work on and improve my skills. This was a great experience and it gave me a better idea of what being a counsellor will be like. Learning about the eight skills that Young (2017) outlines was great, but putting them into practice and determining whether or not I fully grasp and understand how to use these skills was most helpful. The group I worked with also added to this learning experience as they were very supportive and informative about my strengths which helped me to identify my weaknesses and which skills need more work.
For this final reflection I will go over my goals and explain my outcome was, and my experience in an eighth week History 7A class. My first goal, was to stick to the prompt of the assignments. For, which I believe I remained true to my goal and achieved it. I created a list at the beginning of each assignment to remind myself of the required materials that needed be covered, and made sure to cover each and every item of the list—which primarily consisted of questions provided by the professor, or items I felt were critical to provide detailed information. I read the textbook and other required materials, moreover, wrote notes to point out the main ideas. My second goal was to avoid distraction, and remain focus at all times. This was a difficult goal to achieve. I attempted to hide my phone and avoid listening to music while reading or working on assignments. But, that did not worked, I would
As an online learner, intending to be an expert in the field of Education in Primary Teaching, I have learned that communication does not need to be face to face environment.
From time segment 4:00 to 5:10 (video 1), I use Socratic questioning to promote deeper level thinking and understanding about standing waves in one medium. During this time segment, I asked a student to tell me what his data suggested. The student responded that his data suggested that the wave speeds should be equal. His response was accurate; however, I had him expand the answer by asking him to tell me why his wave speeds were supposed to be the same. The student thought about it and realized that the medium–a long spring–was always the same; this made his answer better, and he then understood that waves in the same medium propagate with the same speed regardless of frequency and wavelength changes. I took advantage of the situation and
