Some of the reasons that of deforestation in the Amazon are:
• To make palm oil using the trees that have been cut down
• To have land more housing and urbanisation.
• Also wood for housing and wanted items. Such as chairs, tables, and beds.

A tropical rainforest biome is found in hot, humid environments in equatorial climates. They contain the most diverse range and highest volume of plant and animal life found anywhere on earth.
These animals consist of at least 40,000 plant species, 427 mammals (e.g. jaguar, anteater and giant otter), 1,300 birds (e.g. harpy eagle, toucan, and hoatzin), 378 reptiles (e.g. boa), more than 400 amphibians (e.g. dart poison frog) and around 3,000 freshwater fishes1 including the piranha have been found in the Amazon. By destroying the forest this will ruin habitats and therefore killing animals.
In general, tropical rainforests have hot and humid climates where it rains virtually every day. The level of rainfall depends on the time of year. Temperatures vary through the year - but much less than the rainfall.
