Reflective essay
My plan:
Introduction:
I aim to discuss what methods of learning I have felt particularly successful during my first year and which areas need to be looked and improved in preparation for the next year. I will also analyse and critically assess the development of my academic skills and experience. I will also evaluate my how will I manage my time and devise ways in which to use it more effectively and efficiently.
Each person has different perspectives toward learning outcome. My reasons for studying may be completely different from my peers. I learn to get a wider knowledge about my subject and also to get a high grade. My desired learning outcomes are to achieve at least 2.1 and get a good job and I believe

We have done a self-assessment test in a module called “Understanding Financial Reporting” and I have got 80%, which is amazing. Overall, I think that it is always good to have a wide general knowledge but if there is no good results from it so it is better to just study what we need to.
- How did I manage my independent study during semester one and two?
* During semester one, I had four business modules and two French modules, as I am doing International Business with French Language. I found it a bit hard at the beginning as it is not the same way as I used to study in high school. * I had a module called Organizational Behaviour and Management during semester one, and I found it really challenging. We were divided into 4 to 5 groups in the first seminar activity and each group was asked to write a 5000 words essay. The title of the assignment was too vague and we had difficulties within the group to figure out what we needed to do. It was the first time that we face such type of essays. I am not saying that it is difficult, but it was very challenging. I was not really good in searching for online articles and I find difficulties to find the most appropriate article for our assignment. However, what I really improved in this group work assignment is how to work
The biggest challenge I faced was one of my own making. A late start had me playing catch up through the entire research and writing process. Another challenge was finding relevant primary
Each summary should be 100-150 words in length; making a total word count of 300-450 words in length for this assignment.
This essay is a reflective essay on my learning development from a young age through to my current position as a University Student. I will be relating my learning development back to two theories of human development, Vygotstsky’s socio-cultural theory and Marcia’s version of Erikson’s theory of identity development. I will identify and discuss the challenge I have faced with my identity and how this has impacted on my development.
This is a reflective essay based on a event which took place in a hospital setting. The aim of this essay is to explore how members of the Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) worked together and communicate with each other to achieve the best patients outcome.
This assignment is probably the toughest group assignment I have personally ever been a part of, but I am not saying that in a negative way.
I find being exposed to a busy lifestyle has already given me an advantage with the experience to plan and manage ahead of schedule. Through the experience of bringing up children, I have gained the tools required to reach my goal and am grateful for the knowledge gained. I have chosen to start with one unit for the first study period to allow myself to become familiar with the processes required to study and engage in each subject at a deep level. I plan to review the amount of units I take on per study period, as I familiarise myself with the tertiary learning process. I will base this judgement on monitoring my success through my diary records and assignment outcomes. In future, staying on track and prioritizing life’s tasks will at times prove difficult. There will always be motivational challenges and obstacles to overcome. The time management skills I have acquired and continual planning are definitely the answer to my overwhelming life and mandatory to keeping me on my path to
Whilst on clinical placement, a male resident with dementia and I were sitting in his room within the nursing home for which he resided for the past two years. The resident was becoming anxious about his family, stating that they lived far away and he missed them. He showed me a card from one of his daughters she had sent for his birthday. As I was reading what she had written I became overwhelmed with empathetic emotion and wanted to cry due to her emotive words.
The writing process is always a critical piece when writing anything. I always like to start out with nice, old fashioned brain storming: thinking of possible positions on an issue and evidence to support each contention. After I decide on a position, I begin my research to find supporting evidence and will gather enough evidence for my case and, if necessary, enough counter-arguments to debunk in order to build a strong, well-reasoned paper.
Although it is not a graded assignment I still find it overwhelming. The thought of not succeeding in my course due to this first challenge is quite stressful. It gave me negative feelings about finishing my assignment that I obliged to resort to asking for an assurance from my husband. However, the support that I secure from my family helps me overcome all the negative thoughts that come to my mind.
The first challenge determined is poor communication skills. As for my experience, during lectures and tutorials in an Australian university, it is difficult for me to understand clearly and comprehend

Our group consists of four unique students: Lakendria Gibson, Veronica Williamson, Macalia Owens, and Brianna Coleman. Since we had the pleasure of picking our own groups in class, we were more than happy to be working with each other. We all have different strengths to contribute to the group including communicating with each other, researching the topic, putting the paper together, or maintaining the stocks; therefore, we decided to use everyone’s different attributes separately to complete the project. That way, everyone had something to do and no one would be disengaged with the project or given a grade they did not earn. Maintaining the balance of the group was not easy though we can’t say we didn’t enjoy working together. Overall, if we had the opportunity to be in groups again, we would continue to work with each other.
Throughout the semester, the most significant learning outcome that I acquired the most knowledge of it, was to undertake a self-regulated project to address my own linguistic need by myself. I learned to focus on one specific project, that I believed that it could have been helpful for me to practice and improve my English writing. Since the start of the semester, I was always understanding well the instructions given to us for all our tasks, such as the Personal Project Design or Annotated Bibliography.
This School will also allow you to improve and develop your French language skills. In the Burgundy School of Business, you get the choice between French or English classes (you can choose which language you want to take a specific class in). Furthermore, you are given the opportunity to take beginner level French courses at the Burgundy School of Business. This will help students on the exchange who have no experience speaking French learn and practice the language while they are away.
Coming back to the MA.IB, this postgraduate programme is a striking example of a complete international curriculum. That is to say a totally international atmosphere (around 50% of all students own an
