While men like Benjamin Franklin, George Washington, and Thomas Jefferson are probably most popularly known to be the greatest of the founding fathers, they were a few great men among many. Of course each played a special role in the construction of the Declaration of Independence and the development of the United States, the most important however and perhaps most frequently forgotten is Pennsylvania delegate, Robert Morris. He was born in Liverpool, Great Britain, on January 20, 1784; however, he later immigrated to America when he was 13 years old. As soon as he arrived in America his father, a tobacco based businessman, started little Robert on the path to a valuable education. Robert’s education is what kick-started him on a path of success, this success was not only his but also of America.
Schools have legal and ethical responsibilities to all of their students, and cannot exempt ELL students from that fundamental truth. Federal guidelines prohibit the use of Title VI funds by schools that discriminate on the basis of race, color, or national origin (US Department of Education). These guidelines allow for the enforcement of fair treatment of all students. The importance of this treatment extends much further than funding. Even with the requirements for schools to provide services to these students, “51% of 8th grade ELL students are behind whites in reading and math” (Fry). The requirement of providing these services has a significant impact on this number; however the magnitude of this number suggests there may be room for improvement.
Abraham lives is West Point and was born April 24th 1998 to Mr.Keita and Manifing Kamre during Liberia’s brutal civil war. Abraham's dad died when Abraham was five years old while working for a driver. What blows my mind is he started fighting for child abuse at age nine. He wanted to be like his dad and still does today, and he knows his dad would be really proud of him, as well as his mom who is a great supporter to him - now his dad is his inspiration to help and protect kids. He got furious when someone shot an innocent fifteen year old kid for no reason in town while taking part in one of Abraham's peaceful protests, also when a thirteen year old girl was sexually abused and murdered by her foster

I have Daniel Barriga who came to my class today and said in front of my class “that you argue that I don’t know how to grade.” Is this true or not? Who’s your favorite teacher? Should they get Teacher of the Year? Ms. Dugat should definitely get Teacher of the Year because she explains math well to me, she doesn’t treat me like I’m stupid when I don’t understand something, and helps me understand what I did wrong.
