“Relationships are ropes. Love is a noose”- Durzo Blint (Weeks 87).
When two characters love each other in a story, it’s a big deal. When a character dies in the story, it’s a crucial part of the plot. When love gets people killed, it’s really important. When the main characters die or do evil things in that good story, that's definitely a plot twist and a really good story. Romeo and Juliet are the main characters in the story and are definitely vital to the plot. But when they die and murder others for love, it makes the part of the story one of if not the most significant parts. Because of high number of major events, Act 5 Scene 3 is the most important scene in the play.

“The doors of breath, seal with a righteous kiss / A dateless bargain to engrossing death. (kisses JULIET, takes out the poison) / Come, bitter conduct, come, unsavoury guide. / Thou desperate pilot, now at once run on / The dashing rocks thy seasick, weary bark. / Here’s to my love! (drinks the poison) O true apothecary,/ / Thy drugs are quick. Thus with a kiss I die. (Dies)” (Shakespeare V.iii.114-120). Now it can be debated that Romeo is the reason why the story ended the way it did for reasons like he came onto Juliet and he arranged the marriage and so forth but that’s not the point. The point is that Romeo has the most to do with the story’s plot and when he died, it has a huge impact on the story.
Finally, Juliet wakes up and sees Romeo dead on the floor. She also becomes saddened at the sight of her loved one dead and kills herself with Romeo’s dagger. “Yea, noise? Then I’ll be brief. O happy dagger, / This is thy sheath. There rust and let me die. (stabs herself with ROMEO’s dagger and dies)” (Shakespeare V.iii.167-168) Juliet is an important character and her death is also impactful because she is a main character. Another person from each family is killed and this pretty much ends the story except for putting the families at peace because their generations have now

They may say that when Mercutio and Tybalt die it’s the most important part. “O Romeo, Romeo, brave Mercutio is dead!” (Shakespeare III.i.74) “Romeo, away, be gone! / The citizens are up, and Tybalt slain.” (III.i.90-91) That is definitely important to the story but the death of Romeo and Juliet is way more significant. Now they may also say that Act 3 Scene 1 is more important because it leads to Romeo’s exile. “Romeo that kill’d him, he is banished.” (Shakespeare III.ii.70) Romeo however came back from exile (law break #1) and then murdered Paris. (Law break #2) He broke more laws in Act 5 Scene 3 then in Act 3 Scene 1. Also, Paris was more significant to the story than Tybalt. Because of numerous laws broken by Romeo, Act 5 scene 3 is the most important
She stabs herself and falls on Romeo’s body” (Shakespeare 5.3.174-176). Eventually, she stabs herself after her failed attempt at trying to poison herself by kissing Romeo. Moreover, if Juliet’s relationship with Romeo was not secret she would not be dead. Next, Romeo is looking for poison from the Apothecary, the Apothecary does not want to sell to Romeo, but he needs the money.
Shakespeare's play Romeo and Juliet is a tragedy that has many deaths. Two of the most tragic are Romeo and Juliet. Their death was influenced by many characters inside the play, but some had more effect than others. The people most responsible are Mercutio, Tybalt and the Friar.
In the tragedy 'Romeo and Juliet', Shakespeare presents the inner struggles of Romeo and Juliet, the two protagonists as one of the main themes. This is clearly shown at the end of Act 3 Scene 2 when Juliet receives the news that Romeo has been banished and Tybalt has been killed. Juliet is distraught at the conflict of her loyalties. Should she express love for her family or should she express love for Romeo? By using many different language features, such as oxymorons, paradox, antithesis and dramatic irony, Shakespeare effectively displays Juliet's conflicting emotions. Later in the play, Shakespeare uses the betrayal by adults to again show the inner struggles of Romeo and Juliet.
In conclusion Romeo and Juliet had many things against their love in Shakespeare’s tragic play, but the three main characters to blame for what happened to them are the Feud, Lady Capulet, and Fate. All of these characters in some way pressured Romeo and Juliet to make the harsh choice of killing themselves. In the main characters eyes the choices that these three other characters made in the play gave them only one choice or they would have to live the rest of their lives forever unhappy without the comfort of each
Romeo and Juliet is known as one of the most popular love stories ever written. However, the play is not about love, but about death. William Shakespeare wrote this play to warn readers about the danger of hatred and impulsive actions. Romeo’s love for Juliet and his impulsive nature contributed to the deaths of Tybalt, Mercutio, Juliet, Paris, Lady Montague , and Romeo himself.
In the story Romeo and Juliet, there was a lot of death for example Tybalt, Paris, Lady Montague, Romeo and Juliet all died. In this story it starts off by you finding out that the families do not like each other, you could say they even hate each other, as the story goes along eventually Romeo and Juliet and on act 1 scene 5 meet for the first time. After that in the final act Romeo who thinks Juliet is dead so on page 272 line 120 he kills Paris and himself,

“Love is stronger than death even though it cannot stop death from happening, but no matter how hard death tries, it cannot separate anybody from love” (Cousins). William Shakespeare wrote The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet. This story tells about how Romeo and Juliet, from two feuding families, fall in love. Unfortunately, their love for each other led to the untimely end of both of their lives. While Romeo and Juliet physically committed the acts that ended their own lives, fate and the long-standing family feud should be blamed for their deaths.
This is significant because it shows, that through their own deaths, Romeo and Juliet were able to break the cycle of conflict and hate and thus put an end to the repetition of hatred throughout histories of the two families. Luhrmann seems to have used Romeo and Juliet to not only show how history repeats itself but also the way in which such repetition can be potentially put to an end, however comparing the film to Us and Them will highlight some of the specific ways in which such repetition can
O happy dagger, this is thy sheath. There rust and let me die”(Shakespeare.5.3. 182-183). In other words, when Juliet found out that Romeo was dead, she thought the only way to survive the grief and pain she was in was to take her own life. Romeo and Juliet made the choice to kill
That had caused great sadness for Juliet. Her father thought that it would be beneficial if she were to be married, to Paris. Juliet did not like that idea, so she had Friar Laurence create a potion that would cause her to look deceased and go into a deep sleep for forty-two hours. “O, look! Methinks I see my cousin's ghost seeking out Romeo that did spit his body upon a rapier's point: stay, Tybalt, stay! Romeo, I come! This do I drink to thee” (iv.iii.54-57). After a few days, Romeo had learned about Juliet’s, so called, death. He immediately went to the apothecary’s house to buy a fatal poison. “Come hither, man. I see that thou art poor: Hold, there is forty ducats: let me have a dram of poison, such soon-speeding gear as will disperse itself through all the veins That the life-weary taker may fall dead and that the trunk may be discharged of breath as violently as hasty powder fired” (v.i.58-64). The apothecary gave Romeo the potion, a potion that Romeo had later found was very strong. The potion that Romeo had bought had killed him almost instantly. When Juliet had woken up from her deep sleep, and she found Romeo on the ground in her tomb. Juliet was immediately hit with a wave of depression. Juliet took the only course of action that she thought was appropriate, stabbing herself with a dagger. That is two suicides in one day caused by
Romeo's and Juliet's deaths are the most important point in the play. This is because they were needless and cause by a series of misfortunes. They were the result of many people's efforts and mistakes, and caused the deaths of many people. These deaths lie firmly on the shoulders of Romeo and Juliet because their love led to many conflicts and death. In addition, it eventually led to their own deaths. Often, the deaths were simple misunderstandings or miscommunications. All of which could have easily been avoided. I firmly believe that ultimately the blame lies on Romeo and Juliet themselves because their decisions and actions led to their own demise.
Tybalt was unprovoked and only had a reason to be mad at Romeo (not that it was an excuse to attempt murder, just a reason to be mad). Mercutio was the first one to die in the play. “Oh Romeo, Romeo, brave Mercutio is dead!” (Shakespeare 428). That death lead to the death of Paris and Tybalt himself.
In the play Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare, the tragedy of Juliet’s death is far reaching and there are many factors at play. The Friar, the family feud between the Montagues and the Capulets and Juliet herself all contribute to her demise. The fate of Juliet is a snarl of destiny, love and tragedy that involves various characters and events that contribute to her passionate end.
The author, William Shakespeare, efficiently employs various events and characters in the play, Romeo and Juliet, to convey that love conquers all. Through manipulation of Act 2, Scene 2, also renowned as the 'Balcony Scene’, Shakespeare effectively demonstrates how Romeo and Juliet’s love surmounts numerous things, in the play. Additionally, Shakespeare portrays that/how the strength of Romeo’s love for his murdered friend Mercutio, creates a desire for revenge despite potentially receiving death penalty; displaying that Romeo’s love for his friend conquers the fear of death. Furthermore, the final scene also depicts how love triumphs over the terror of death and how the Montague and Capulet parents’ mutual love for their children, Romeo
