10. If yes, say how they benefit from the celebration. Analysis and Interpretation. The researcher interviewed ten persons, of which three were between the ages 6 to12, three between ages 13 to 16 and four between ages 35 to 76. Before the interview began, the researcher informs the interviewees of her name and the purpose of the interview. Based on the information obtained by the researcher at the St. James Anglican Church (Cathedral), Spanish Town, it was discovered that the members of the church are not aware of how many festivals the church celebrates. The researcher noticed this in the interview. Members were asked how many festivals the church celebrates. Few of the members responded by saying about 10, 12 between 20-30 and so on. The researcher gained information on five of the festivals celebrated at the church. They are Christmas, Palm Sunday, Easter, lent and Advent. Only five members interviewed could state at least 12 festivals. Surprisingly, some of the members listed some of their rituals as festivals. For example, members listed Ordination, Holy Communion, Confirmation and others as their festivals, when in fact they are rituals. This therefore leads the researcher to think that members do not even know the difference between festivals and rituals.
