3. TEAM STRUCTURE & WORK EXPERIENCE
During my Internship, I was working in the IT Security Risk and Compliance department, also known as ITSRC. The global head of this department is Brian Silver and the vice president is Lee Hindley. They jointly took the decision of assigning the interns in respective teams as per their skillset. The org chart is as follows:
Ronney John was my assigned manager and Federico Abrigo was my assigned navigator. Federico is more like a buddy who guides and assists me through difficulties, both technical and non-technical ones. Being in a small team actually gave me exposure to

My degree path has prepared me for this internship. As a business marketing major I have knowledge of many key business concepts as they have been taught to me by one of the top universities in the country.
This past summer I interned at Community Empowerment Solutions where I worked as a consultant for entrepreneurs in Ecuador. During this internship, I managed a team of interns solving problems facing entrepreneurs which included: looking for funding, improving customer support, and refining marketing campaigns. I lead my team to create efficient solutions to these problems while taking into consideration obstacles like limited internet connection, illiteracy, low-income, cultural and language barriers. Inspired by the impact students could make in Latin America, a group of interns and I formed Pakta Consulting; a pro-bon consulting group that seeks to match college students to Latin American entrepreneurs. In Pakta, I also manage a team of consultants to solve problems that entrepreneurs bring to us. In conjunction with this, I serve as Vice President where I manage Pakta’s growth, overlook other teams, and recruit both consultants and clients. These experiences have prepared me for an internship with McKinsey where I hope to continue to grow and
Internships integrate academic with practical and industrial knowledge. This documents outlines my rich experience during the summer internship. I worked with Deloitte as a cyber risk intern. It was not just about ample hands-on experience but, it was also about enhancing my academic learning at Mays Business School.
Interning as the financial analyst at Terma North America Inc. (Terma) and as the accounting intern at Howard, Moore, and McDuffie (HMM) has been a great learning experience. This summer I have been able to apply theory and participate in real-world scenarios. At the beginning of my internships, I met with my supervisors to create goals that I would strive to achieve by the end of the summer. At Terma, my goal was to prepare and present summary financial status reports to management and customers. I was able to exceed this goal by working with the IT department to design and create a program management module for the program managers. With the guide, the managers will learn how to access reports and update them at any time without

1) Critical thinking: as an intern I am asked to provide thorough research daily on potential clients, current clients and lost clients. Along with bills, amendments and anything you can think of when it comes to government affairs. There is no bounds when it comes to government affairs research, there is nobody holding my hand. I must have the awareness to know when I have provided enough research,
At this internship I have been able to apply my scholarly knowledge to my working experience. The main classes that have helped me in this work experience is Career in Professional Development I & II, Business Ethnics, Management of Organizations, Principles of Marketing, Financial Accounting, and Managerial Accounting.

Businesses, be it small-scale or large-scale, use cloud computing for the storage of data since it is cheaper than buying hardware and software separately.
Cloud computing has become so famous; there is much widespread news about the cloud these days. This is mainly because of the exponential shift of the business applications from traditional models of software towards the Internet, and now through mobile devices. Cloud computing is a model that uses the network of remote servers that has been hosted on the internet rather than on a specific hardware. This would enable a better shared pool for storing, accessing and processing of data. With the huge information being available in the internet, the security for cloud computing has been challenging and this paper would elucidates the security threats of cloud computing also stating the possible countermeasures for them.
This essay has been written in order to provide self-reflections on the business management module and internship experience by incorporating Gibbs reflective cycle. Moreover, this essay also highlighted improvement in skills by getting enrolled in this module.
“The cloud” is a phrase which is heard often, but also frequently misunderstood. Nowadays, when you hear it, it is probably not referring to the puffy white things floating in the sky, but it is more likely referring to a new computer technology. Most people do realize it is a technical expression, but cannot actually define it. Essentially, it is huge data centers housing hundreds of servers which hold considerable amounts of data. There are a number of corporations delivering cloud services, and the major players include Amazon, Google, Microsoft and Apple, to name a few. They provide individuals, small businesses and major corporations the opportunity to save costs on technology by storing data on their servers, which must then be accessed through the internet. So, with the rapid growth of cloud computing, more and more information is being stored on the internet. While the cloud does have many benefits such as low technology costs, more accessibility and highly trained IT professionals monitoring security, the data stored in the cloud is still at risk due to imminent privacy and security breaches such as government snooping as well as hacker theft and manipulation.
