The Western Lowland Gorillas are critically endangered animals that require our protection and support. The Western Lowland Gorillas’ greatest threat is poaching the gorillas for food and the destruction of their natural habitat. Wildlife preserves are constructed, but the poaching continues due to unstable governments and high price of the gorillas’ meat.
