Despite the lack of communication, the comparison between risk-takers and reckless people is a key factor in life. Everyone will most likely experience one of these once in their life, but the real question is which one will you be? Although they bear many minor similarities, the differences between reckless and risk takers are obvious. Risk takers are people who represent the act of being cautious while at the same time realizing there’s a slight chance of failing. On the other hand, reckless people show poor behavior such as being careless or acting foolish. A prime example would be NASCAR drivers. These professionals risk their life doing what they love, while at the same time being extremely aware of potential danger. Even though they still carry an abundance of experience, they still make sure they have their armor equipped on their body and personal vehicles. William Burke Miller “Skeet” was known for being a very complete person, mainly due to his responsibility of taking food to Floyd Collins knowing he’s risking his life down there. Everyone knew he could easily get stuck down there with Floyd but he refused to give up and risked his life to continuously feed him. This is a prime example of being sacrificial as well, which leads to being a risk-taker.
