From a societal perspective, plagiarism is seen as an anticipated but unfortunate matter of fact, somewhat like a social faux pas (Martin, 1994). If someone in a high level position were to be revealed for plagiarism, certainly there would be embarrassment and some stigma associated with such knowledge (Green, 2002) but when considered against all possible offenses, likely downplayed as minor. From the Article Skills and Strategies/Understanding Plagiarism in a Digital Age by Lionel Anderson and Katherine Schulten. From this information I found out that lots of people think plagiarism is just “copying” and “borrowing” but the article said that it can also be a serious offense. For example, if I write a story and someone writes almost the same exact thing as me I am gonna get mad because I gave them all those ideas of the book they write they are taking credit for my ideas. According to U.S. law, the expression of original ideas is considered intellectual property and is protected by copyright laws, just like original inventions so in that case, they could go to jail.I this case I agree with the Authors Lionel Anderson

All I had to do was upload the document and get the report. I used a previous assignment which was week one word exercise. I had a few mistakes in grammar, punctuation no spelling errors, and I think one style error. The main thing was I had no plagiarism, which was nice to know. Plagiarism is a series problem in today’s world. It is too easy for a college, high school, or even a news journalist to take claim for someone else’s work. A good definition for plagiarism: using someone work or ideas for their own use and trying to say it is there. Plagiarism is just a lake of academic integrity. For me, I try to double check my work and I always review the results of Turnitin before submitting to ensure my paper is 100% my work and that there will be no future issues.
The only disadvantage with Small SEO Tool plagiarism checker was, at times it would be really slow. The site also has a grammar checker, but I was never able to use it and see
