Have you ever stopped and started thinking how could SJNCS save more money throughout the school year? Well I have, and I think one simple change in the rule book could help students stay more organized student families save more money, and most importantly, it would save the school a bunch of money. The solution to all these problems is letting middle schoolers bring their own devices from home and allow them to use them throughout the day.
Families of students going to SJNCS would save a lot of money. First, they wouldn't have to buy stacks of notebook paper because we would be able to use our devices to type up notes, essays, and almost anything else. Another reason would be parents wouldn't have to buy packs of pencils because each student would probably only need one to two, if they are typing up everything. Lastly, we wouldn't have to spend money on binders, folders, and composition books because we could store all of our documents into separate folders on our

One way we would be more organized is that we wouldn't have to carry around huge binders full of paper instead we would be able to have all safely stored in our devices.Another point would be that if we stored everything in our devices, we would be less prone to losing them than if they were in binders. Lastly, if anything was lost or damaged we would be able to reprint them because there would still be a copy on one of our electronics.
Lastly, most importantly, we would be able to save the school tons of money. One main reason, would be that if we could bring our electronics the school wouldn't have to pay for Ipads for us to do our research. The school also wouldn't have to spend a ton of money on computers because they could type up essays and notes on their own devices. Finally, the school would save money on paper because instead of turning in work on notebook paper, or even on a printed copy because we could email our work to
Another important benefit of implementing technology in the classroom is it can help teachers create personalize instruction and make it easier to provide accommodations. It can be very difficult and time consuming to differentiate instruction for a classroom of students. The use of technology can make this a much more workable task. By using technology, the teacher can differentiate instruction with just a few swipes per student. It also gives the teacher more options to work with depending on student need. For example, if a student has trouble writing, they can use an iPad with voice adaptive software to answer questions or complete assignments. This eliminates the stress they may feel being forced to write during an assignment or test situation.
This will help students because if they know they can design their work and chromebook to their personal desire. Students will also be obliged to carry a chromebook and a few notebooks and pencils in their backpacks instead of carrying so much weight in their bag. Everything students will need is all in one place and that helps take some weight off our backs and also makes us more organized with our work. They will also learn rather quickly how to type quicker and do many things with it because it is quite easy to access. This will have an impact on students work in a positive manner.
Kardaras claims that technology cannot be used in schools, however I recommend that technology should be used in schools because it helps students keep in good health, save money and get good grades. To begin with, I think computers are easy to carry. Specifically, textbooks are too heavy for students to carry resulting a lot of students get shoulder disease. If they have e-books in computers, they would carry a computer to school without a lot of textbooks. In addition, e-books are cheaper than paper books. If a student has e-books, each semester he could save more than 400 dollars. That would ease students’ financial pressures. Furthermore, students can restudy lectures again and again because all lectures are on the internet. They can arrange
The first benefit that technology has in the classroom is the ability for students and educators to have any information that they need at their fingertips. When trying to teach a concept teachers can refer their students to specific web searches, games, or other resources that can be found on the internet. In the same way though having instant gratification through being able to look up anything on the internet can affect the way that students learn. Instead of doing work on their own students have the ability to type problem into a search engine and it will likely give them the answer for their
For example, if student has to research about a virus inside a computer, they can use the internet like Google, Wikipedia, and other websites that can get the information that they need to complete the research. When students do their assignments, they do it on the computer and submit their assignments instead of doing it on paper and waiting for the day to turn in so nothing bad would happen such as water get on your paper or dog eats your homework. Students can also send emails to their professor and ask them for help on their research and assignments; they also can ask them what stuff they miss in class and what the date for tests and exams. Students also can buy textbook from the internet so they don’t have to carry the textbook to school and saves trees from being cut for
So you can see that although schools get a lot of money for just not academics but also for other activities that can motivate them to have good grades. First, technology is
makes it easier to take notes and faster to write papers. Students also find it easier to keep things
By allowing them to take this device home there school district have seen in Students responding with incredible enthusiasm, excitement, and creativity stated Mark Edwards a superintendent of Henrico County Public Schools in Virginia. For instance Mr edwards was named 2001 Superintendent of the Year by the Virginia Association of School Superintendent. Not only can the one to one help outside of school but it can help in the classroom as well because it save time when taking notes it allow you to lookup information if you have a question . think about it the one to one is a huge improvement to your school so think it over and you will see that it is great to
Keeping thing organized is hard, not because students are bad at organizing, but because students lack the determination to stay organized. Keeping a school binder organized is one of the hardest non-academic parts of going to school, and if a student wants to do well in school that person will need to organize his or her school binder. The cause of this problem of disorganization is usually due to a lack of determination. Most students just can’t find the determination in them to stay organized for more than a small period of time. To solve this problem, students need to develop a system for organizing their binder. If the student gets lost in the process of organizing a binder that person should ask for tips from a teacher, parent, or
Printers are also necessary because some professors prefer hard copies. Hard copies are less problematic because they will not get deleted, and they could just hold on to a copy without struggling to find each person.
Imagine having people bring tape to your table every day because they know you're going to have a paper tsunami. Tables in the classrooms after class look like a tornado hit, causing teachers to become frustrated. All of this destruction is caused by the lack of organization the binders hold. notebooks have a better organization system, allowing no papers to become ripped or torn out. There are many reasons notebooks are a better choice rather than binders, such as binders breaking and losing papers, having all class assignments in one place and not being able to find the right assignment, and binders are a disadvantage to left handed people. What would it be like without the paper hassle, are notebooks the better option?

First off, many students and teachers would agree that it is easier to access homework with one to one. Students that are in sports can miss up to 2-3 days of school a week. These athletes may have a difficult time getting their homework done and keeping up with their peers. If a school provides electronics for each student, it is easy for the athletes, and the absent or ailing, to go online and look at their assignments to stay caught up. When asked about this topic, former student, Quynnalynn Meyer said, “Teachers posted assignments [online] so there was never an excuse to not
To start off, schools need to realize the amount they can save in the long run by utilizing technology and lean away from traditional, old fashioned, hard cover books. When books become outdated and used, schools have to spend endless amounts to replace them. To avoid this, schools can take the initiate and work proactively and replace hard cover books with electronics to avoid unnecessary expenses. An example of this occurred at Empire High School which recently made a switch from textbooks even though, “it wasn’t because of a funding crisis.” (Source A) Empire High School shows just how well technology can work. Not only does technology help in saving necessary funding, it adds a sure convenience factor to the students and teachers by not having to drag around large and expensive textbooks.
Another benefit arising from this is that students are able to study where they want to study; there is no need to make their way to a campus. Also students are able to access their lessons more than once. While a lecture is given once, online materials can be accessed at any time (Demirdjian 2002). Financial benefits arise for students from the lessened need for high fees, housing away from home and travel costs such as fuel and parking at campuses (Demirdjian 2002). Some of these benefits are offset by the increased need for a personal computer to be purchased, Internet access at home, paper and print cartridges.
