Dalman realized that he and Lei were spending too much time fighting “little fires” within the Sandwich Blitz organization. Dalman has been dealing exclusively with addressing manager operations concerns, and Lei has been dealing with financial matters. Dalman feels the company is growing successfully however there are still issues within the business that need to be addressed. Dalman heard there were other businesses that are using a team approach to managing with good end results and wonders if this could help him and the location managers. Self –managed semiautonomous work teams should be used at Sandwich Blitz to allow Dalman more time to devote to growing the business. Self-managed teams are workers who
Evaluating his approach to bringing about change in his organization. Comparing his approach with that of Jack Welch.
Setco Automotive is the company that I work for, the first thing I would change is the management. Consequently, because it takes more than just money to run a company just because you have the finances to buy a company does not qualify to run one. Nevertheless, the management plays a significant part in any business. to achieve a high level of performance for the company. Furthermore, it starts with leadership by using their power, personal influence, and persuasion to communicate with harmony to encourage their employees to work together and form a higher level of performances to achieve that is set for the company. All management needs a vision for the company, once they have the vision they need a plan, at most having a group that can

On a clear day in May 2007, John Amasi looked down on the city of Corpus Christi, Texas, as his plane approached the airport. As director of Production and Engineering at RL Wolfe—a $350M privately held plastic pipe manufacturer headquartered in Houston, Texas—he was looking forward to visiting the company’s plant in the city. Four years previously, in 2003, when RL Wolfe had purchased Moon Plastics—a small, familyowned custom plastics manufacturer in Corpus Christi—Amasi had seen an opportunity to implement self-directed teams (SDTs) at the new plant. He had been interested in SDTs for several years, since taking a business

Then take that into account when creating the strategic plan. As for the expense levels growing out of control, I believe the company might need to switch form revenue based offices to profit based offices. This will take into account expenses a lot more, therefore gaining back more control of the expense levels. Of course it should create a comprehensive and well thought through plan that will take into account the objective of revenue growth. Again this should be integrated into the strategic plan. Moving on to the issue of lack of new leads and prospects, I believe the chart idea they suggested is a good idea, but maybe give the managers and the offices more freedom by using it how they feel is best and not having them report back everything to the founding partners. It should be at least a little decentralized, as everyone is use to now. As for the last issue I believe ACS should pay back the money they overcharged Powerhouse for, and tell them there was a mix-up by an employee and you’re terrible sorry and you have taken care of the problem. This way you won’t really lie, you prevent them from finding out some other way and keep your integrity. I believe this will work out for the best.
