The Working Life of a Dental Hygienist
1. My essay is over Dental Hygienist. I choose this occupation because I’m in high school right now and I’ve taken health science I and II; my next two years I want to finish the health science classes. The reason I want to pursue being a dental hygiene is because dental hygienist have good working schedule and there are provided many rewards and challenges. It would also be a great opportunity to help communities to become healthier.

Typically a dental hygienist will only need an associate degree to work in a dental office, but if they want to pursue research, working in school programs, or public clinicals it requires a bachelor 's or master 's degree.
According to the American Dental Association, "a dental education opens up a world of professional opportunities. In addition to private practice, today 's dental school graduates can choose to work in hospital emergency rooms, conduct laboratory research, teach future dentists or even travel the world with international health and relief organizations." (uccs).
One option for dental hygienist is to work at a dental office assisting the dental with cleaning of the teeth and educating the patient about oral hygiene. “ Dental hygiene programs are commonly found in community colleges, technical schools, and universities. In 2015, the Commission on Dental Accreditation, part of the American Dental Association, accredited more than 300 dental hygiene programs”. (collegegrad.com)
9. 10.Working as a dental hygienists the most important abilities is helping patients and communicating with others you have to want to solve the patient 's problems and provide them with comfort; being organized is a massive responsibility when being a dental hygienist for the safety of patients and their health.
