Hereford cattle are middle-sized breed. Its appearance includes a burgundy coat, rich in colour. It has a white face, throat, legs and tail with a white stripe across the back of the neck. With a docile personality, the Hereford is simple to handle. Rivalling the Angus, the Herefords’ meat quality is superb furthermore, it is another British breed whose meat can achieve a marbled effect. Hereford is found in Australian Capital Territory, New South Wales, Northern Territory, Queensland, South Australia, Tasmania and Victoria for their temperate conditions. The cattle itself is only of medium size and has a black or red body with no horns. Its most special trait is its meat as its meat is evenly distributed between fat and flesh. Angus meat is known to more flavorful than other breeds because of its even distribution. Bred to live in Irish conditions, the cattle survive best in damp and temperate conditions with no weather changes. Murray Grey cattle were developed in Australia’s Murray Valley. Medium sized, the breed has a silver to a dark grey variety of colour. It has no horns and the breed was developed from an Angus bull and Shorthorn cow. The breed is preferred in other countries such as Korea and Japan for its cheap price and quality meat derived from its ancestor, the Angus. Murray Greys can survive in different climates that are temperament cool since they were bred for Australian conditions. Charolais cattle is known for its large frame and muscle. It is white to tan in colour and can be either horned or polled. The breed grows fast therefore it is easy to sell the cattle and its meat. Its meat quality rivals those of the Angus and as a result, the breed is very popular. The Charolais is bred for French and Iris conditions, therefore, it prefers damp environments with temperament
