The study of sociology examines and explains the matter of crime and law, poverty and wealth, discrimination, our community and social movements. It also sees and understands the social worlds, which people live, and shapes everyone’s lives. Through sociology’s theories and research methods, it helps expand our awareness of human relationships and history.
