After all, the corned beef and cabbage we eat every year is an Irish-American tradition rather than a purely Irish one. Corned beef is nothing more than a beef brisket that has been salted in a preservation process, and if there’s one thing Texans know how to grill, it’s brisket. Derrick Riches has specific instructions on how to soak and season the beef, so take a look at his methods before pulling out your Dallas patio furniture and trying it yourself! Cook With Beer (Obviously) If you need to add some variety to your outdoor party, Better Homes and Gardens offers up some great recipes involving one of St. Patrick’s favorite ingredients: beer. Need an extra side to compliment the burgers? The beer-cheese hush puppies look good. If the weather turns towards the chillier side, warm things up with the beer and cheese soup. There’s definitely something for everyone. Now that you’re planning on an outdoor St. Patty’s Day bash, feel free to give us a call at (214) 350-9200 to revamp your Dallas patio furniture. We’d love to help you get outside and make your patio

If, life me, you plan on celebrating your Irish-American heritage tonight, please also find some time to learn about that heritage. It could change the way you view the world around you. Even if you lack Irish ancestry, the fact that the same handful of claims were made to stir up hatred and fear against a long list of cultural “others” throughout this country’s history only to be consistently proven to be malicious nonsense is essential knowledge in an age whose demagogues continue to make those very same claims. Please, don't be a
