Everyone describe me as a sociable, industrious, positive, mature, honest, bright and responsible person, as well as a great listener. Base on the Belbin Analysis, I am an 80% team worker. I can help the team to gel, using my versatility to identify the work required and complete it on behalf of the team. Apart from being a good listener, I am also being collaborative, co-operative, easy going and tactful.
I chose Hospitality is because of my hometown, Macau, which is an international city full of casino and hotels; I have been interested in the way hotels are run from a very young age.

I am attracted to this place mainly because of its strong academic atmosphere and excellent teachers as well as the freedom and democratic learning style. The experience in United Kingdom can let me become confident, mature and independent. By studying in Highbury College, I can increase my passion in understanding the way the hotels are functioning and the way the managers are managing.
I am also undertaking a part-time job as a waitress at a Chinese restaurant in the UK. I have many chances to apply the knowledge about hospitality management I learnt in Highbury College. I hope to develop my ability to have a better communication and customer service, along with an aptitude to work effectively as part of a team.
I have a strong interest in Food and Beverage. During the Operation skills of Hospitality lecture every week, I can learn many skills of operating an event, as well as the cooking skill. I am looking forward to learn more about holding an event more efficiently and how to cook well.
