MIT Qs 1. Though there are many aspects and elements of MIT that I am very eagerly looking forward to, one of the most exciting and enticing programs offered by the institution one that initially piqued my interest in the school and that continues to hold a high position in my interest and regard is the Energy Initiative instigated in 2006. There are so many different specific objectives, research programs, activities and personnel involved in this initiative that it is impossible for me to select one that I am most interested in; it is the Energy Initiative as a whole, from concept through implementation, that I find so compelling. The commitment that it represents to the ethical and practical use of scientific and technological development is a testament to MIT's principles and sense of place within its community, and the degree of physical attachment and direct relevance the initiative necessarily contains is refreshing in a world that often seems to be made up of increasingly detached, fragmented, and isolated elements. Again, the many elements of the Energy Initiative make it difficult to single out examples without cheapening the other aspects of the program, and with all of the schools and disciplines contributing to this initiative I would not wish to do so. Indeed, the integrated and collaborative spirit of the Energy Initiative is one of its primary attractions, and has been recognized and implemented from the start as one of the initiative's primary strengths,

The small size provides me with a better learning opportunity
My attention was to search about universities and the opportunities they provide for their students. I looked for college that makes me feel part of a something big and not about me graduating from the university. After researching on a couple of colleges, I chose Texas A&M as my top university to enroll in the coming fall semester. I have always had an interest in engineering majors, especially chemical engineering, because of laboratory experiments and learning about new chemicals. I have always been waiting for the day I could become a senior to be able to apply to the university I had always dreamed of enrolling. Chemical engineering brings out one's critical thinking and problem solving skills. Texas A&M University is the best university
There are countless reasons why I have chosen Xavier University of Louisiana. Xavier will guide me to exceed all of my expectations with plenty of effort, focus, and determination. One of my main reasons for coming to Xavier is the wonderful biology pre-med program. I know that Xavier's dedicated faculty has helped many African Americans attain their goals of completing medical school. Whether a professor teaches an essential concept or an academic advisor assists with application processes, Xavier has all of the resources I will need to go to medical school. Going into Xavier, my expectations include becoming an ideal candidate for medical school to become a dermatologist or pediatrician. I plan to meet this expectation through rigorous
Education is a very important aspect to many people. For me, getting a well-rounded education will help me reach my lifetime goal of being happy and bringing that happiness to people by helping them. The spark of motivation came in a very unusual way. It happened when taking the mandatory Chemistry class sophomore year of high school. This class was interesting and eye-opening to me because it provided a different look on life. I knew after completing the class that I wanted to pursue a career in the medical and science field. Oberlin attracts me as a institution because of the role of leadership it takes within the country historically. As the world becomes more interconnected with new technologies, as a nation, I believe we face a new issue of how to react to events that happen to our neighbors and kin around the globe. Though Oberlin College does maintain some "traditional American values", the school also steps ahead compared to most other colleges when it comes to the institution's mission and goal. Therefore, seeing Oberlin's progressive visions that have bettered countless communities, I am thrilled to become a part of the student body that enlightens a new, interconnected generation of world citizens. Another aspect of Oberlin College that excites me is the
I am writing to express my sincere interest in Towson University physician assistant program. From my extensive review of several physician assistant programs and discussion with other professionals, it is quite evident that Towson University has an excellent program. Your program was highly recommended by many physician assistants that I have talked with, and the curriculum is outstanding.
The humanities have played a vital role in my development in college, as they permeated my undergraduate studies. I am currently a senior at Boston University. I am majoring in the History of Art and Architecture, and I am double minoring in Medieval Studies and Classical Civilizations. These academic areas have shaped my outlook on the world, as I studied histories and cultures from different civilizations throughout the centuries. The humanities are the only field that allows this kind of introspection on a culture. I think this is a vital connection, as an individual can learn what to emulate from the past in order to have a better future.
Saint Xavier University is a school I am proud to have attended for my undergraduate degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders. The faculty in this program have allowed me to explore this field for what it really is: a humanizing service to the community. I have built rapport with all the faculty on campus and have gleaned so much about the field in the classwork and in my invaluable experiences in the on-campus clinic have prepared me to venture out and challenge myself with a professional degree and hopefully, a career in speech-language pathology. The Masters of Science program will allow me to fulfill all the requirements to become a professional in this field, and I believe the impactful education I received in the undergraduate will
This nation was built by men who took risks — pioneers who were not afraid of the wilderness, business men who were not afraid of failure, scientists who were not afraid of the truth, thinkers who were not afraid of progress, and dreamers who were not afraid of action. The ability to take calculated risks, it turns out, is actually an essential human trait, crucial to our development as a species and as individuals. Our risk-taking ancestors were the survivors, the daring ones who took chances to adapt to a changing environment. Today, the same principle applies; to grow we need to experience challenges regardless of where we are in our lives.
Growing up in New York City, my entire life has been connected to the city. When searching for colleges I knew I wanted a school that is in a big city. More so, I wanted a school that was connected to its city. As I started to look into the University of Southern California, I noticed that it was founded early on in Los Angeles's history and grew with the city. Additionally, I want to live in some place I am not familiar with, which is what USC gives me.
Most importantly, organization focused on improvement through lessons learned, translating knowledge gained with each project into innovative opportunities for projects worldwide. I work for Mercer’s sister company NERA Economic Consulting in Washington, DC. I am hoping you can put me in touch with someone who can discuss Mercer’s consulting career path. I earned my MBA with specialties in Finance and Marketing at George Washington University. Now that my lock-in period with NERA has expired, I am looking to transition into a management consulting role in the areas of Health & Benefits or Talent. While my career path to date has mainly focused on strategy and marketing within the professional services industry, I have strong analytical skills that compliment my business and communication acumen. I look forward to a new career path that provides me with improved growth potential, access to clients, and is more analytical
