Animal Abuse Statistics states that over one million animals fall into abusive hands each year, whether it be domestic abuse or laboratory killings. Peaceful Paws is a program that helps do just that. Through Peaceful Paws, people of all ages who have gone through abuse are encouraged and welcome to spend time in the facility with cats and dogs who have also been abused and neglected. This not only helps people who have been through abuse, but the animals as well.
