Student One’s assessment is reflective of many other students’ work and demonstrates similar strengths and weaknesses. For this reason, I will begin class the following day with a short mini-lesson on using language note to review the use of “刻” “半” “分”. Specifically, I will ask students to correct few sentences with the common mistakes such as “我下午六点半分看书,然后七点三刻分做作业.” And then I will emphasize that “刻” “半” “分” would never use together in a sentence. To accomplish this, I will provide the poster “中国高铁火车时刻表” to students and invite students to apply times with “刻” and “半” in the poster to demonstrate their activity, then I will model the sentence again using Student One’s content “四点三刻吃晚餐” as a guide. This will ensure that Student One is drawn into the lesson, and also help to make her feel more confident about her mastery of sentence forms. At the same time, this mini-lesson will offer her another opportunity to work on her weakness before we move on to more complex higher-order thinking. For example, I will address to her that “You should use 在+locations to describe where the action occurs, such as 我在学校吃午饭 or 我在家睡觉.” Based on her academic performance in class, I will decide if she needs a one-on-one support afterward. …show more content…
Based on his assessment data, it appears that he needs some help to conceptualize English words into the context to determine the meaning. During this conference, I will ask him what he means that “我晚上十点半要睡觉,但是我睡觉在午夜十二点” and what the difference between two “睡觉.” I will explain the importance of understanding a word in a meaningful context. Next, I will recommend some dictionary websites and Apps for him as learning resources. And then, using the App “youdao”, I will encourage him to determine if the meaning of “睡觉” at the eighth slide of his assignment is what he truly wanted to demonstrate, and correct the sentence by
Draw a long horizontal line on a sheet of paper. Ask the student what he knows about the topic. As the student talks, the adult draws simple pictures (or writes keywords), representing the student’s ideas along the straight line. The adult discreetly arranges the pictures in a logical order during this brainstorming process. At the end of the exercise, the student “reads” the assignment to the adult, using the pictures (or keywords) as prompts. This verbal rehearsal helps the student hear the logical flow of the language. The student then completes the writing assignment using the timeline as a visual
Generally, when looking at each items vertically, most of the columns start with ones which indicates that this skill was easy for the higher ability students and finish with most of zeros which demonstrates that it was difficult for the lower ability students. In between, there is a mixture of ones and zeroes breaking down in the column. This demonstrates that the items in this task are suitable to use to analyse students’ ability. However, there is an irregular pattern of 1’s and 0’s for the item 1.2. The less able students could get this skill while the more able students could not get it. This may be because these students did not have this skill. Therefore, this item is still suitable to be used to assess the student’s abilities.
02 Assessment task – Communication and professional relationships with children, young people and adults. Explain why effective communication is important in developing positive relationship In order to contribute to positive relationships, effective communication is vital. By communicating effectively, we are encouraging a good relationship, be it with children, young people or adults. This means we are more likely to talk about things that need to be discussed.
The reliability of an assessment in a perfect situation should produce the same results if marked by another tutor or if that examiner unknowingly receives the same paper again. If different marks are given the assessment is consequently unreliable and proves that this assessment is subjective.
Describe and explain the ways in which assessment practice has the potential to impact students’ learning:

Patient J.B. presented the office with chief complaints of coughs and sore throat that lasted about seven days. These symptoms are typically seen in respiratory tract infection or inflammation that is caused by viruses or bacteria. The initial differential diagnoses included Influenza, cough, common cold, community-acquired pneumonia, acute bronchitis, acute pharyngitis, and postnasal drip syndrome based on the chief complaints. The reason that why these differential diagnoses were considered is because they all have coughs as the symptom. Some of these differential diagnoses have both coughs and sore throat. JD, et al. (2017) states that Influenza A or B viruses can cause a dry cough and sore throat. Troullos,
The first student whom I assessed is an 11-year old female, going into the 5th grade in District 204. She was born and raised in Columbia for the first ten years of her life. The girl moved to the United States with her parents in June 2016. She speaks Spanish fluently, and at the time she arrived in the United States, she neither spoke nor understood English. The girl was placed in a general education class, and she receives bilingual instruction for about 30-40 minutes a day. She told me that her father speaks both Spanish and English fluently, and her mother speaks Spanish, and a conversational English. She also shared with me that her parents promote reading at home; they take her to the library to check out books, and encourage her to

First of all I will undertake research to determine features of best practice systems of separation /termination and the legal requirements. After that I will consult with relevant managers prior to the introduction of new changes. Than I will develop policies, procedures and supporting documentation for all forms of separation/termination and will ensure procedures for dismissal or termination respect employees, provide strict confidentiality and comply with legislation.

The importance of formal written assessment is always debatable has now become controversial. With many people claiming that assessment though the written exam is valid, while other reject this notion and argue that it is invalid. The substantial interface of formal written assessment has spared the controversy over the potential impact on this trend in recent years. In my opinion, formal written assessment is valid as all students are assessed on the same level. This essay with further elaborate both positive and negative effects of formal written assessment and thus lead to a plausible conclusion.
The reaction to my peer assessment was different from what I anticipated it would be. I know I am not that star academic and or extremely physically fit, as a leader this matters. These areas matter because you are supposed to lead by example in all aspects. I was humbled after finding out my scores and having the feedback session with peers. It also touched me that my peers thought highly of me in most categories regardless of my short comings in the above-mentioned areas. I am my own worst critic and my peers had less improvement feedbacks for me than I do for myself. That was humbling for me that they are not focusing every struggle I know I have and that I am still being able to “lead” confidently in their eyes.
