4.0 RECOMMENDATION
4.1 Suggestions to Santa Fe Relocation Services Company
Santa Fe Relocation Services is a great learning company for interns. Santa Fe Relocation Services is an establish company and helps interns improve and develops their skills. I would recommend Santa Fe Relocation Services to keep hiring interns with different educational background, to help build and improve the company with the knowledge they gained from their studies. I also hope that Santa Fe Relocation Services will not put a limited opportunity to intern trainee for learn different area in the organization. In my opinion, Santa Fe Relocation Services can give an intern trainee to learn every task that we can use it after the internship program. Afterward, I also hope that next coming internship trainee will receive more appropriate training that can enhance the ability of fresh graduate which is lake of experiences or knowledge. At this point, the duration of internship program was six month and this is similar to the probationary period for any new worker in company. In these levels, as intern trainee we kind of have the similarities like permanent worker but only we just not get the certificate of our studies. Finally, everything that I had learned from Santa Fe Relocation Services was great enough and I’m glad to get the placement in Santa Fe Relocation Services because of a few reason such as, the people of Santa Fe Relocation Services totally kind, did not underestimate any worker and they

Internship week 5, I chose this week to do my training with Finance department since I know it’s one of the most important departments in any organization. So I started it by attending a meeting that was between the employees from different departments to discuss and to update with each other’s for the coming event “the flag day”. They had to find solutions for the issues they’re facing and give suggestions to improve it. After the meeting the director of finance department asked me to call some suppliers that have to work with the foundations in their big project. I and the suppliers agreed that they will come and will meet them to explain more about the project. Met them and gave them soft and hard copies of the exact details to work on
Working for 1800-GOT-JUNK? this summer was an awesome experience. I really believe that I found the perfect internship for anyone who has never had one before. 1-800-GOT-JUNK? Has never had an intern until this summer. So both the company and I were fairly new to the intern and company relationship. I think it worked out well the first person I met was the former vice president of operations Michael fink. I met mike at the career fair that was held in the lane university center. He told me they were looking for guys to do summer work and that they also had a mass communication internship opportunity. A few weeks later I met with vice president of development Gregory frank. Gregory is very upbeat guy who is seems passionate about growing the 1-800-GOT-JUNK? Brand. Before I became the intern he produced his own welcome video for the Washington D.C franchise. He asked me if I could help in his mission to grow the brand and to keep wowing customers. I knew i was up to the task. My first week of work was basic I learned how to make “Welcome calls”. A welcome call is just a way to confirm that the client is aware that will be coming out to haul away their miscellaneous items. During the welcome calls we also let customers know that our truck team members will call them thirty minutes prior to their appointment window to reconfirm and they can process payment on site with the truck team using either cash or credit card. During this first week of training I met the managers of
I knew it was time to start looking for an internship for this summer. While looking at the career services website a few months ago I stumbled across a logistics internship through Anderson Trucking Service. I researched the company for a while, and looked at the internship posting on ATS’s website. During my reading I found a few qualifications that matched my abilities and knew this was the internship for me. A couple of the key qualifications were: strong problem-solving skills, hard-worker, and sense of integrity. I have always pride myself on the fact that I can always accomplish something if I work hard enough. For strong problem-solving skills I go back to my previous job, where I was faced with solving problems on a regular
While searching for internship opportunities, the best opportunity was with Teachers Insurance and Annuity Association (TIAA). While looking at their website, www.tiaa.org, I was intrigued by their mission statement. It stated boldly on their website, “Created to serve. Built to perform.” I think that I can adhere to this mission statement greatly. I love helping others and I am great when working in any situation. I did my further research on the company and it made me even more intrigued in the internship position.

Following the bombing of Pearl Harbor in 1941 and the United States entering World War II, President Franklin D. Roosevelt signed Executive Order 9066 in 1942. This order led to the evacuation of over 100,000 Japanese Americans, both citizens and immigrants, to Relocations Centers located away from the Western coast of the United States. Life inside the Relocation Centers was complicated not only by the living and working conditions, but also by the many social, political, educational, and cultural dynamics among the different generations of Japanese Americans. (Kessler, 1988). Once released from the centers, the United States, through the Resettlement Program urged the Japanese Americans to settle throughout the country in hopes for better
As a student looking for an internship, I received an amazing opportunity to be a Pathways Intern for The Army Corps of Engineers. My position is an Administrative Assistant in the Construction Branch. My office location is over in Davenport and our office is called the Central Area Office. I have been under the pathways program since December 2016 and since then I have learned so much from my job and my co-workers. It has been a place that I enjoy working for and would like to become a permanent employee in the future. It is my goal to be able to fill in a permanent position in the future.

Besides the famous F. Scott. Fitzgerald, another author had marked a wonderful contribution to society around the same time period. Focusing mainly on young children, Alan Alexander Milne, or A. A. Milne, published his work in 1926 known as the Winnie-the-Pooh. This famous fictional work beloved by both children and adults consisted of the adorable stories between a cute bear who loves honey and his fellow friends. Inspired by the toy bear and other stuffed animals given to his son Christopher Robin on his first birthday, A.A. Milne, who was already known for being a novelist, mystery writer, playwright, poet, and essayist, had his works published first in England by Methuen and later by Dutton in the United States, with the illustrations
Ironically, in each organization they have their own strength, weaknesses, opportunities and threaten as included in Santa Fe Relocation Services.
Have you ever felt offended while in school because the teacher or a student was talking about your religion in a way you didn’t appreciate? Religion is one of the most talked about and controversial topics in the world. We don’t need religion to come into our time of academics. This is important because religion will only be a distraction. Bringing this disputed topic into schools is not a good choice because schools will favor certain religions over another, it will take away the time students can use to advance technological and practical skills, and even though religion was one of main ideas in history, history textbooks could create untrue and unneeded stereotypes about certain religions, which we don’t want.
While people recognize that firefighting is a treacherous job, several assume that the prevalent risks of the occupation are casualties on the scenes of accidents and fires. Although mishaps are a source of deaths in the field of firefighting, they are far from being the only hazard. With firefighters being involved in high-stress situations along with being in structures filled with smoke, a few of the most frequent risks are heart attacks as well as other diseases dealing with smoke and chemical inhalation; nevertheless, there are other dangers that account for a smaller portion of deaths.
An internship is no good if you do not make it work. Thus making the internship work for you is very important. To start out the student must want to direct their full attention to the internship because the internship is pretty much starting out their future. First impressions are usually suppose to be good so a student should not go into an internship thinking that it is going to be easy and that they can just blow through it. Internships should be beneficial for the students and the employer’s. The internship program coordinator should look for a few things when they are picking out the companies in which they are going to send their students to learn and gain experience. First off the firm in which you might be thinking about going into for an intern must have work for you to do. Sitting behind a desk all day staring out the window will not teach you anything. It also helps out when there are positive people surrounding the student intern. “For an internship to work, the firm’s principals must be available to supervise and teach.”(Berger 30) The student intern will usually have lots of questions and if there are good people around the intern to answer his or her questions and correct their mistakes then the internship will be quite beneficial.
Last year when I was enrolled in previous semester I have received a call from a reputable organization to work as an intern for a period of two months. The internship was placed in marketing department and I was very happy because I felt that this internship would be very fruitful in terms of work experience and exploring new things in the dimension of marketing. However, unfortunately, I couldn’t secure good marks and perform better at the organization due to lack of communication and interpersonal skills and this was the worst experience that I encountered. Lack of communication skills made me unable to
