These two concepts have been studied vigorously by many different professions and researched by a plethora of disciplines. There are many points of overlap in the concepts as well as stark contrasts. This analysis will consider models such as transactional management, transformational leadership, and other such models and will also look into self-directed learning in its relationship to leadership. Although it was found that there are a range of different interpretations regarding these concepts, there are also some commonalities that can be found as well. .
