What do you think is the future of America? Tough question, I believe this cannot be answered with something that is down to a specific small one detail. My answer: Those who dare to defy. The current generation and a few years are challengers, and inventors we challenge the normal and dare to defy. Two example of this include: fashion and technology. We continue to find new ways to do new things.
Fashion has been kept as one basic standard throughout time, although in fashion we always have different forms of clothing nothing has been out of the ordinary. We challenge fashion especially with beauty norms. 2016 was the year of reconstruction of beauty, men have been accepted into the beauty word (we have produced the first male Covergirl).
Throughout the decade both genders became much more fashion conscious and a woman’s appearance was often linked to the success of their husband. The daily reminder from radios, TV’s and magazines to be desirable and beautiful for their husbands motivated women to splash out and spend a lot of money on clothes.
In 1970 America was a post-war country just waiting for something bad to happen. Moving to the current year, it still seems that America is still on its way down. We cannot go a month without there being a tragic shooting on the news, or protests burning down buildings. People do not expect anything great anymore, they always get ready for the bad times. This seems especially true ever since Donald Trump has become president. No one can accept him and everyone is just waiting for him to do something horrible. When I was watching the presidential election and saw that Trump won, my mood changed immediately. I was ready for World War III to happen, without giving Trump a chance with his presidency. Many Americans hope for the best, but prepare for the worst.
The America I believe in has a past, present and future. The present we are dealing with today are full of many issues, but all that can change in the future. The future of America will be bigger, better, and stronger.
Who will establish the future foundation of America? In society we view the high entitled people as our leaders to engage a part of prosperity for America's future, the true leaders of our country is our children and youth. They will become the government, Lawyers, teachers and doctors of tomorrow. There are many youth around the world are faced with highly competitive challenges in their life. As youth and I include myself we imitate what we see. In fact particularly violence.
Throughout history, America has been put to the test time and time again. We have endured a revolution, two world wars, a Great Depression, and we pulled ourselves back together after nearly being torn in half by a horrific civil war. But if there is one thing that we can learn from this, it is that progress can only be made through struggle. The struggle that I speak of is that which our founding fathers fought to form this great nation, the brave struggle fought by slaves to gain their freedom, the struggle that Martin Luther King, Jr. fought for civil rights, and the heroic struggle that was fought on the golden sands and blood-stained beaches of Normandy. All of these struggles were fought with the spirit of change
The fashion industry is rapidly growing and constantly generating new fashion trends almost weekly. Fashion for some may seem ridiculous and unnecessary; but fashion is not just a meaningless usage of article of clothing or farcical materials sew together for coverage. There is more to fashion than meets the eyes, fashion is precious and significant. It is a reflection of self-image, it speak the ream about who we are and how we review ourselves. Not only is fashion the reflection of self-image but also the reflection of our history as Coco Channel have said, “Fashion is not something that exist in dresses only. Fashion is in the sky, in the street, fashion has to do with ideas, the way we live, what is happening.” Fashion
As i envision America in my own eyes, I keep in mind how our Founding Fathers would have intended America to be. The Founding Fathers planted roots in the American soil over 200 years ago. My vision of this nation would include morally correct life styles guided by Christian values of the Bible, it would be secure and blessed by God, and reinstated by faith. I envision American just as it should be. My vision would include a nation with great potential.
The revolutionary clothing of women’s fashion in the 1920s not only shows itself in our modern era, but is a historical adjustment which changed the way that we view females today. In the 1920s, breathtaking changes in women’s fashion made its role into history. The clothing designers created a unique and elegant style that gave ladies a greater freedom of expression. With the new and colourful fabrics echoing, fashion designers’ vintage clothing became more and more popular and paved the way for what fashion has become today.
I am pessimistic about America’s future for the following reasons; First, there is the bureaucracy, which is dysfunctional from ceasing to operate in a reasoned manner. Next, there is the education system, where we are constantly confronted with disappointing statistics on test scores and low performance compared to other developed nations. Last, there is the national debt, in which the interest rate alone has been bigger than what is spent on Medicare. The interest paid per year increases and could eventually be more than all other spending.
In today’s society each person has a different vision of what America is, should be or even what it could be. The visions I have for America may be different from others. It includes visions about what I think of America, the freedom of America, the relationship of America and other countries, and the religion of people in America.
The future of the United States could have many different outcomes. But my vision for the future of America is it will be a safe place with American citizens that will protect and serve the United States of America. The future of America in my eyes is a place that is safe, a country that is independent, and a country that has a good military that will end any disputes or wars between countries.
Women have earned respect in the 20th century, however, new generation women have not earned any positive feedback but discrimination by presenting their bodies in a sexualized way. The outcome of a woman has changed from the old fashioned look to the new fashion look. A old fashion look is usually a long skirt or pants and shirt with simple color. Women were not tended to show their bodies to strangers in the 20th century. On the other hand, new fashioned look is a totally different than old fashioned. For example, women like to wear Bikini instead of swimming suit when they are at the beach. In addition, women also like to be exposed in public. Female film stars are always exposed themselves during different festival period or even daily
During our life we construct many different identities of who we want to portray ourselves as to the rest of society; fashion plays a vital role in generating who we are. With the ideas from Storry and Childs they state that “the way that we dress can either serve to confirm or to subvert various facets of our identities, such as our gender,
America has always been viewed as the richest and freest nation in the world. America has grown from thirteen self-governed states, to a nation with a strong central government of power and wealth. The change in society has allowed the U.S. to grow into what it is today. Without the change in views and the responsibility of the citizens the economy would have never grown to be strong and wealth. The nation is effected by many different variables. One variable effects the other. The nation was started and has progressed to where it is today, but with rises and downfalls in all areas of life from education and small families to economics and large businesses.
Many years in the making fashion has made a very impactful effect on the culture of a nation or region allowing an on looker of the culture to understand many different things about the culture due to their fashion styles. Men and women, throughout the years, have been able to keep a clear distinction between the two genders making clothing for both genders look as if they were for either one of the genders. In any culture there are distinct differences in styles allowing for uniqueness between the genders. Masculinity was a major image that had to be expressed whenever a man would wear men’s clothing displaying rugged and distressed looks, with darker colors, showing
