Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is taking the world of business. It was front and centre again, and need for more ‘creative capitalism’ which is where government, non-profits and businesses work together as to approach the reach of market forces so people can make a profit, or gain recognition doing works that ease the world’s inequities. Proven of financial benefits of strategic CSR can be found in the areas of human resources, reputation and branding, and operational cost saving. CSR can be used as an effective strategy to recruit and retain top talent, which has clear positive implication for the bottom line (McElhaney, 2009).
