Teamwork and cooperation have been part of my life from a very young age. I have played sports and been involved in clubs and community organizations throughout the last 30 years of my life. I learned early on that my success is not only defined by my personal accomplishments, but by how I am able to help those around me and my teams accomplish their goals as well.
I have found that the life lessons I learned early on through sports are the very essence of policing. I have been very blessed in my years of police work and have interacted with some amazing officers and community members who have all made positive impacts in the communities that I served. This sense of teamwork and cooperation is something that I thrive on. This is evident throughout my career in many of the awards I have received.
Taking a look at the last three years you will see that I have been devoted to teamwork and working with other units and members of the department. I have been fortunate to receive four department commendations, one officer of the month award, and one American Eagle award. A6,A12,C2-5 These awards were not for one individual act, but for being a part of something larger. They are a credit to how teamwork is essential in helping bring the department and community together to help achieve departmental goals. One such note from

I did this by creating the Tiger Watch Awards program. Over the last three years as part of Tiger Watch, the community watch group that I started on campus, I worked with campus safety to find a way to recognize members of the community and created a unique Tiger Watch Challenge Coin. To date the program has honored 101 students, faculty and staff along with members of CSPD and the Colorado Springs Fire Department. It’s been a great program and one that I am very proud of and it keeps getting bigger each year.
In my work center, we require exceptional teamwork to complete our day-to-day task. I will apply the team dynamics concept to my work center by fostering a strong and cohesive unit that works together to complete tasks quickly and efficiently. Also, I will decipher how each individual aids in the development of the group. Each member contributes different talents to the work center and I have to find those and apply them to team dynamics to accomplish the mission effectively. As a leader I will develop a solid relationship with my subordinates to make certain that the group evolves into a well-oiled machine built on trust, loyalty, and respect. According to lesson materials “team leaders pay close attention to interpersonal relationships because
I think this is the perfect time for me to be involved in a team-based research project. I have enough background knowledge to work with others to successfully carry out research. Yet, on the other side of things, much more still remains in my study of anthropology. The new skills I will gain from this research experience will prove to be beneficial as I continue my education and I eventually run independent research projects. By working with a team to conduct anthropological research, I will be more prepared to complete independent anthropological research in the future and after completing the project, I will be able to appreciate the ethnographies of others more fully.

Are you a member of a successful team or one that performs marginally or miserably? Have you ever wondered why some teams excel at what they do and why their people are energized, happy and having fun? What differentiates these successful teams from those that experience low performance, with people who are demoralized, complaining and depressed? You may be surprised to learn that "dream team" performance is almost guaranteed when four foundational neuroscience principles are practiced. They are easy to understand and implement when forming new teams, retooling struggling teams and taking successful teams to higher potential. Dream teams may include couples, families, businesses, sports and organizations of all sizes and types. Teams who practice
What do you do with a trouble kid? Not jail, too young for that, so jovial prison? Rehab? Let them stay home, but make them go to therapy once a week? What do you do? Team Skills is a program that take trouble youth, and ship them off to an island in the Indian Ocean. There they will work with the leaders and natives to rebuild homes, plant and tend gardens, and how to survive without the outside world helping. An escape to a place unknown where the trouble kid will learn the value of hard work, and work out their issues with the well trained staff who were looking for a 100% success rate. Pitching that to the government, Team Skills was born, and were ready to board their first plane of trouble kids and take them away, to hopefully recover.

I have received multiple academic honors and awards during my college career. As a student, I received the Dean’s list honor for maintaining an overall GPA of 3.65 for at least two of the three contiguous semesters. I also received two awards - Judge’s Choice and Viewers’ Choice Award from the American Physiological Society, for a video I had created for a class project. The video explained the science behind holding one’s breath for a period of time while underwater. Outside of college, I have received multiple awards for my time and commitment as a hospital volunteer, one of which is the Heart of Gold award for individuals who display exemplary service in improving the health of my community.

Joining my school’s soccer brought to light the importance to strong teamwork skills. Every practice reinforced these skills through drills on passing and hand signaling. Communication was key. While it was difficult at times, it always yielded positive results.
I think that my best quality I have is my teamwork and that my worst quality would be my commitment in doing above and beyond that affects my parents. I have always work well in a team and my cooperation with them and have gotten good results because of it. But my commitment in doing above and beyond has affected my parents and how much they use up their time for me. My teamwork is a quality that I am proud of and so is my commitment to do above and beyond but it also is my worst quality of how it affects my parents.
Team meetings are an essential part of the program. It is important to attend all team meetings. You need to stay for the entire meeting. This will ensure everyone heard all the information. It is important to dress professionally for the team meeting. During the meeting, you need to have a notebook to write down notes from the meeting. You also need to take notes during your teaching sessions and share at the team meetings. Things to record are unusual changes in behavior. After each teaching session you need to update the graph. This will provide accurate information at the team meeting of the child’s progress. During a team meeting the provider may have to work with the child in front of the team. Remembering this is to ensure everyone implements
TEAM/GROUP COHESION: Team cohesion runs as one with team holding. Indeed, team bonding is the thing that keeps any gathering or team together after the team holding activity is over. In this respect then, team bonding is about keeping up the team holding impact and preventing gathering discontinuity.
When I was a freshman in high school, I had one of my worst group-experiences within my entire educational career. I was assigned a project in my World History course and was assigned to a group with one of my best friends and two boys who were known for their lack of goals in school. I wouldn’t call this a team project because, due to the situation, it’s obvious that we were not a team. It was clear to my friend and I that this was going to be a tough process because we knew the history that these two boys had with contributing to the work needed by each teammate. Both boys were well known to the teachers as well because they were two of the high school’s biggest troublemakers. One would assume the situation could have been helped, but that is not that case.
