Introduction

In this report i will analyse the logistic operation and the supply chain of Tesco and McDonald and how this has made customers more loyal. The global market is competitive so in order to survive and succeed you need to follow stategy. Logistic is the planning, implementing controlling the efficient and effectiveness of goods and services, related information from the point of orgin to the point of consumption.

In 1924 Tesco was found by John Edward Cohen. Tesco name comes from the initials of Cohen 's tea suppliers T.E. Combined with the first two letters of Cohen. Cohen is responsible for the success Tesco has today. Tesco is operating around the world with 2491 stores and with over 350,000 people worldwide making a profit of £3 billion. The UK is Tesco largest market while expanding there business around Europe such as Thailand, also opened up another store in US called "fresh and easy".
