Albert Einstein once said,” the value of a college education is not the learning of many facts but the training of the mind to think.” The medical field is a very challenging field, but it is very helpful. Texas State, the metallic, gold and maroon Bobcats, are ranked number two in medicine and will prepare me for the medical field. Texas state university which is located in San Marcos, Texas was established in 1899 as Southwest Texas State normal school to 303 students. Now Texas State has over 36,000 students enrolled and is ranked number two (2) for medicine school. To attend Texas State University you have to have an act score of 20, but you also need a score of 1500 on the sat.

Most vets though diagnose animals with health problems, vaccinate them, treat wounds, and perform surgery with many other tasks (the balance). But most vets don’t just work in hospitals many vets serve in the army and treat wars dogs. When vets join the army they get recognized as commissioned officers. Many people think that being a vet is easy but many vets don’t know what’s wrong with the animal until they check it, Will Rogers, “the best doctor in the world is a vegetarian. He can’t ask his patient what’s the matter he’s just got to know.” This quote is inspiring because it shows how good of a doctor you can be because you can’t ask your patient what’s wrong you have to figure that out on your own (gale group).
