Over the course of the past nine weeks, I have been researching about Florida State University, it’s financial aid, the process of going through college, and Florida State University’s history.

From a very young, becoming a veterinarian has been a dream of mine. The love of animals coupled with the thought of helping those animals through suffering and having the opportunity to actually save one's life has been a motivator for the future. A veterinarian changes an animal’s life in more ways than one. They care for the health of animals. Veterinarians are also able to diagnose, treat, and research medical conditions and diseases of not just pets but also livestock and wildlife ("Summary" U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics). It goes beyond the annual vaccinations.

I hereby write in regards to admission into Grand Canyon University. As a matter of fact, I chose this particular university based on its Christian values as well as the excellent students it has produced from the wide variety of quality courses. The university has also shown a commitment to developing their students all-round through extra-curricular activities and other areas with the fact that it was the first ever for-profit university- and the only one too- to participate in Division One athletics for NCAA. The institution offers me with the best environment and university to pursue my education and foster the attainment of my long term ambitions and dreams.

Texans lived in a one party state for nearly a century. In Texas the only party that was in control was the Democratic Party from the post-Civil war era to the late 1970’s. In Texas politics for approximately over 100 years the Republican Party was basically non-existent. In a one party state Republicans were the second party. As with all of these jobs listed, you can decide specialize in one field such as being a Veterinarian that only treats equine or have a mixed animal practice to allow for the care of several different species. As an example, Veterinary Technicians can work in all areas of veterinary medicine. They work closely with the Veterinarian, restrain animals, preform certain procedures and tests, administer treatments, monitor patients, and much more. Currently Veterinary medicine is a very valuable and critical field. Without health animals, both domestic and wild, the world would be a much different place. Our food supply could be greatly reduced due to disease. We rely on animals for meat, dairy and eggs. Some animals can carry germs that can be shared with people. Zoonotic diseases can be caused by germs including viruses, bacteria, parasites, and fungi.. According to Centers of Control and Prevention (CCP) “Zoonoses can cause many different
