In the 41 Question Quiz, it proclaimed that I was a "social realist." This quiz's results stated that a social realist is a warm-hearted and popular person. It also says that a social realist puts others needs before their own, which it something that I believe to be true. The quiz makers said I would be a good nurse or teacher, which is something that has always interested me. I love caring for young children and making sure their needs are taken care of. I believe this quiz really hit it spot on. I often put others needs before my own, which can be good to some extent. I personally believe this is quiz is more true than the other.
Funder (2006) defines personality as a person’s pattern of thought, emotion, and behavior, with psychological mechanisms and underpinnings. Studying personality within the field of social psychology makes logical senses. While the study of personality psychology seeks to determine the various ways that people differ from one another, and figure out individuals from the inside out, personality within social psychology seeks to figure out individuals from the inside out in varying contexts. Personality psychologists deal with one main challenge – there are so many facets to one’s personality that it is hard to view one’s personality within one single lens. Therefore, before exploring personality within the context of social realms, it is important to view the many facets and approaches to examining personality and its variations.

In terms as a student I would say I am: motivated to do well in school, goal oriented, complete my work on time, work well in teams, one on one and independently. I am an attentive listener; I can communicate well with others; I am optimistic and along with my personal strengths I believe that these characteristics will help me as a social worker. However, like everyone, I am aware that there are some things I need to work on. Overall I have the tendency of procrastinating, not asking enough questions, and fear public

With the results of the Profile Scores, I do agree that it identified me accurately. My top three scores were conventional, investigative, and social. When someone is conventional, that person likes to follow set guidelines and routines. Also, they prefer working with information and paying attention to details instead of coming up with ideas. Investigative people like to search for facts or figure out problems. They like to think rather than doing physical work and typically work well with a leader. Lastly, people with social interest like to work with people more than working with objects or by themselves. They typically like to give advice, teach, or even be of service to people. Although I feel I do not completely identify with each score, I can attest that all three of these scores does identify me
Some of them I felt were truly accurate, and some of the others showed me characteristics of myself I’ve never realized that I am, like a very defiant individual because on two out of the three we took it seemed I couldn’t really be put into a certain category. The Myers-Briggs test was the only one exception because it had you definitely put into one, single group. My result was that I had the Advocate personality, in the Diplomatic arena. It said I was, “a very rare category, making up less than one percent of the population, but that they nonetheless leave their mark on the world. As members of the Diplomat Role group, Advocates have an inborn sense of idealism and morality, but what sets them apart is that they are not idle dreamers, but people capable of taking concrete steps to realize their goals and make a lasting, positive impact. And though soft-spoken, they have very strong opinions and will fight tirelessly for an idea they believe in.” Which I believe is pretty spot on for me, though I would have never been able to come up with that description of
In the 41Q Personality Quiz, my personality is extremely extrovert, feeling based, judging, and sensing. In the 41Q quiz I shared personalities with Björk Guðmundsdóttir, Danny Glover, Dixie Carter, Jack Benny, Mary Tyler Moore, Nancy Kerrigan, Sally Field, Steve Spurrier, Terry Bradshaw, and William McKinley. My personality is professed as if I make decisions more on self-value and feeling, along with being organized, yet very outgoing with the outside world. My career suggestions are social workers, nursing, family care, counselors, office managers, or receptionists. I agree with social working such as therapy or counseling.

While doing the Holland Inventory Assignment I found myself confronted with questions which varied in difficulty for me to answer. Some required me to look deeper at myself and what I truly enjoy doing and helped me explore more about my interests than I have done already. After finishing the set of questions I chose to take the optional 20 picture/painting survey as well. The optional survey was used to get a more accurate read of my personality, and also contributed to my final results. I received the code ISA at the end of the activity which is created from three groups; Investigative, Social, and Artistic. When I looked over my results I found it to be quite accurate of how I already perceived myself, and was nice to be given extra reassurance of myself from the test result. The Investigative part I found related to me because I view myself as a person who asks a lot of questions and is very interested in how things work or come to be. I enjoy going into depth with research about things that I find appealing or interesting, and gain knowledge about that subject. The social reading from the test fits me as well because I love being around people. doing so gives me more energy and makes me feel more comfortable a lot of the time. I have a passion about helping people and find it easy for people to come to me about problems or for just good company. Creating things and expressing oneself is something I find important personally and throughout society as a whole. I have
