Since the 20th century, people have become globalization in their social life. The actions of people and the view of the city are almost the same with other countries. Globalization is not the fashionable word in the world, it is an important word of human economics. There have some economic professions said it could be dangerous of the transaction in different countries, such as global economic crisis. However, globalization has some positive points that it makes people’s lives become better. Even though it has some negative effects on the human such as air pollution, but it also has many positive effects. Nowadays, not only the government, but also people are enjoying globalization in economics, immigration, and knowledge.

Globalization, described as the expansion, intensification and acceleration of global interconnectedness, is one of the intense phenomena that the contemporary era has experienced. It has influenced the monetary, ecological, and societal characteristics of all the nations of the world. Due to both positive and negative consequences on the life of the citizens the world over, globalization is one of the most talked about issue of this century (Javed 2004).

Globalization is an extremely relevant concept in regards to the current shape of the world. Through globalization, ideas are shared across cultures leading to innovations in several departments. I would like to give an overall view and perspective of the impact of globalization on the United States from a macro look at how globalization is now shaping America. Likewise, I will discuss in more detail how globalization has impacted the United States as it relates to technology, trade, transportation, and environmental pollution. Lastly, I will explain the impact of globalization on the United States as to how it relates to these forces on domestic companies, workers, indigenous cultures, and other demographic groups within the country.

During the last decade of the twentieth century, the word ‘globalization’ has become an increasingly prominent feature of political, social, and economic discussion in academic and policymaking circles, as well as in the media. The processes and outcomes of globalization drew attention and debates that had one thing in common. The research shows that nearly everyone agrees that globalization is a trend that is changing the face of the world, and as a result the world society lives in a more ‘globalized’ world. Nearly two and a half decades passed since 1990s, and studies have been conducted to examine the causes and consequences of globalization. Moreover, nearly every person experiences some type of globalization and can testify firsthand the effects it has on their life, society, and the state. The analysis of the effects that globalization dynamics have on the world society indicates that globalization has a significant positive impact via spreading opportunities and wealth across nations, stimulating innovation and productivity, enhancing the economic development of poorer countries, and helping to improve living standards.

There are many benefits from globalization. One benefit is more efficient markets, efficient markets means supply and demand. Efficient markets cause the economy to multiply, in a world like ours if the economy is increasing, every thing that is connected to it benefits. Another advantage of globalization is new solutions, globalization permits significant procedure to occur more efficiently and important ideas to become reality. It also allow use, the human race to push forward. On the other hand, the disadvantages of globalization are that someone always has to lose, and that the home team loses. Since then, the creation of technology has spurred and launched the spread of globalization. It has now had an effect on every aspect of our daily lives, including our environment, culture, political system, economic prosperity, and even on our physical well-being (What is Globalization, 1).

Globalization is the integration of the worldwide economy in which resources and products move freely across the globe. Globalization has been present for decades however it has predominantly become a more frequent process and has potential good and bad effects on the world of business. Problems can include competition in manufacturing jobs and unemployment in industrialized countries. However, this can also be beneficial in other situations as globalization gives you a larger market trade will be cheaper so more countries can import and export goods which can bring in profits to multi-national corporations.

“Globalization is not just one impact of the new technologies that are reshaping the economies of the third millennium” (Thurow 19-31). When speaking of globalization, most people will not have a complete understanding as of what it actually means or what aspects of the world it affects. Globalization promotes free trade and creates jobs. The capital markets attract investors, resort cheap labor, and leads to job losses in some areas of higher wage. While all of this is happening, the world economy is being effected: economically, culturally, socially, and politically.

Across the world, globalization is one of the most significant aspects that has occurred over the last fifty years. It allows a country to integrate economically with other countries through a global network comprised of people, trade, and transportation. With the global landscape only becoming more intertwined, globalization and its inherent pros and cons seem to be here to stay. In many areas, global powers tend to lack in rectifying the negative aspects and only focus on the positive side. America, for example, is a leader in the globalization efforts, even though it has greatly effected job opportunities at home, widening income gaps, and an increased standard of living due to fluctuating world markets.

Continuing on with the positive economic effects of globalization, the economy puts forward a net benefit to the individual economies around the world. It does so by making the markets more efficient, increasing the competition, as well as spreading wealth around the world on a more equal playing field so that all countries have some kind of reward. This makes all countries want to strive to do well and for their superiors to do well also. International trade benefits us by having foods all year round, cheaper products, and allows countries to focus on their strengths and trade for the things they can’t make cost effectively on their own.
