When thinking about a product worthy of my unsolicited commercial product report, there is really only one that comes to mind. I am talking about a product unlike any other, that never ceases to amaze, and always provides its consumers with a good time. If you are wondering what product has had such an impact on me the answer is: Jimmy Buffets Margaritaville Drink Maker. If you are like me, you have probably spent entirely too much time depressed with the fact you can’t make homemade, restaurant quality margaritas. I am here to inform you that although it seems impossible, there is a product that makes margaritas just as good if not better than your average local, Americanized, Mexican restaurant. This product which I call “The Buffet”, for …show more content…
Although my dad raved about how The Buffet made the best homemade margaritas on the market, I must say that I wasn’t immediately convinced. At first, I thought it was just a fancy blender that was overpriced. With that being said, I can’t lie that I was eager to try this product and see if my dad’s hype was worthy, or if this product was nothing more than an expensive blender. So my roommates and I invited some friends over to help us test The Buffet out for the first time. I think I speak for every one there that night when I say The Buffet blew our expectations out of the water. It was hands down the best margarita I have ever tasted, and it wasn’t even close. Because blenders are meant to chop and mix food, not make frozen drinks, so it is common to find floating ice chunks that ruin your drink. What makes The Buffet, special is the addition of an ice shaver, which is the key aspect to making a restaurant quality frozen drink. The finished product is nothing short of a miracle, with a taste that will brighten up any day. The difference in quality compared to the margs made by a traditional blender is extreme. It’s like watching T.V., because once you have experienced HD, it is impossible to go back to regular old T.V. If my
Spradley and Mann chose to do their research at Brady’s bar because it is an ordinary setting where they could study interactions between male and female. First, Brady’s Bar provided a setting to define the female role. Secondly, it is a place where both male and female interactions are important and reflect traditional aspects of larger society. Lastly, the traditional aspects of Brady’s signified the traditional view of how women should present themselves as passive sex objects whose status is of lower hierarchy than men.
The play Naked Lunch by Michael Hollinger focuses on the relationship between the two characters Vernon and Lucy. The two had previously had a romantic relationship, but for whatever reason ended it. In an attempt to get Lucy back, Vernon invites her to have a steak dinner with him. When Lucy refuses to eat the steak (due to the fact that she is now a vegetarian), things quickly take the turn for the worst. Throughout the play Vernon is controlling, demeaning, manipulative and abusive, and though it seems that Lucy tried to turn her life around and wants better for herself, she is submissive towards him. While telling the story of a previously estranged couple, Michael Hollinger uses metaphor, imagery and characterization in order to show
Do you like eating at restaurants and fast food places? Almost everyone does, but do we really know how healthy and unhealthy the food we are eating is? Labeling food menu choices should become a law. As stated in passage "Label the Meals", one thing both arguments can agree on is that healthy people are happier and more productive. If labeling meals in food places taken upon, it is a way of helping people take charge of their well-being. People should have the obligation of viewing the nutrition information whether the food is nutritious or not.
Throughout essay “In the Kitchen,” Henry Louis Gates Junior recalls a time when he and his friends and family constantly tried to straighten their African American “kinky” hair. They did this to try to fit in with white people. The writer is using his personal experience as an African American straightening his hair to show how black people felt about assimilating into white society. It was very difficult for blacks to fit in with white people but he remembers how this difficult time brought the black community together.

Vonnegut’s symbolic and satirical representation of humans as robots in his novel: Breakfast of Champions is representative of the authors interpretation of world events and conflicting nature of human beings. The renowned author often hits on significant and worrisome themes such as destruction of the planet and overpopulation. His unique and unparallel style includes outrageous and often unrealistic chain of event that are obviously symbolic and relevant to the story as well as the author’s attitude on a particular subject matter. For instance in describing when Kilgore Trout writes his stories, he does not save them
Never have I taken the time to think of the significance of the kitchen table in my life, but I have come to realize that my kitchen table has always been a place to unwind and share with my family members. From childhood to my adult hood, I have always come to the kitchen table in celebration, conference, in search of security, and enjoyment. The kitchen table of the past always brought my family together, and the table in my present brings focus to my school work and an occasional “catch up” conversation with my family, and in the future I hope to have a similar kitchen table setting as I did in my childhood, but with my own style.
The Making of a Chef was a fascinating book that alternated my perspective on cooking giving me a clearer view of working through a culinary program. Michael Ruhlman gave readers a glimpse of life within the Culinary Institute of America, which is the most critical culinary school in the United States. Nothing is left to instinct or assumed information, everything is shown whether it is with culinary maths or precisely how you lay out unresolved issues for the ideal stock. Everything was just striven to be excellent, not good, nor O.K., but miraculously perfect.

At times when we are in a hurry, hamburgers are one of the easiest foods to eat while on the go. No matter what time it is whether its breakfast, lunch, or dinner we grab a hamburger and might throw in some fries and a soda to go with it. Many restaurants are known to make their hamburgers in a specific way. Preparation differs from restaurant to restaurant. But what really makes a hamburger taste so delicious? Depending where you go they will taste different but they are all structured the same. It consists of a bun, a ground meat patty and often ingredients such as cheese, onion slices, lettuce and other condiments.

The food is worth the walk, and many people do not mind because they love bringing their families to this restaurant on weekends. It is one of the best buffets in Omaha. They offer not only great service, but a fun atmosphere for eating with friends or family, and at a reasonable price.
As far back as I can remember, I have always liked going out to eat. Two of my favorite restaurants are Jake’s and McDonald’s. Though both are places to dine they have their differences in their ambiance, waiting, and expense. When deciding where to go to eat, I have three things to think about. I must consider the atmosphere or where I want to go. The amount of time I have is another consideration. The amount of money that I am able to spend is a big influence.
