What is migration? Migration is when people cross their countries and come into another. There are many reasons why they migrate. Reasons that some can't explain reasons others wouldn't understand. There are wars, famine, hate, racism, hunger, no opportunities, an overpowering government, no freedom, no hope. There is a lot of reasons why these people migrate into new countries. Migration does cause many other problems to other nations but its better helping than having to sleep with those people in your conscience. Migration could also start problems such as diseases, food scarcity, no homes, less jobs, pollution, and the government go bankrupt. Migration has its ups and downs. Migration also could make their economy better by having more workers and actually creating new jobs. They could also bring in new people that would bring new ideas and make the country a better place. Both people of different nationalities could come up with better ideas.
Migration is one of the the world's biggest human issue. There are around millions and millions of refugees and forced migrants, reasons for conflict, persecution, or development factors. Today, immigration is a heated topic and everyone views it in a different way. Immigration is the movement of people to a different country where they were not originally from. This should not be mixed up with emigration, which has a different meaning. While immigration is when someone joins a new group, emigration occurs when someone leaves that group. With that being said, there are many reasons why people immigrate to a different place. Some of these reasons may include better opportunities, to connect with families, or the freedom of religion. Whatever the reason is, immigration is an important reason and it affects everyone involved. Between 1950 and 2010, 92 million people moved from their original country to someplace else. They came
Shawn Pogatchnik shows how important the fact that so many migrants are trying to flee to Germany and other EU countries by using statistics. Pogatchnik states that the EU countries “...has seen more than 332,000 migrants enter so far this year.” He also says that Germany “...is expecting to take in 800,000 migrants in this year.” When people read the article, they realize that what is going on must be bad enough for hundreds of thousands of people to want to flee their own country to enter another European country.
For the last year, people from the various regions of the globe have been fleeing their home countries and migrating toward several nations across Europe. What pushes them away and what draws them to their final destinations? Ascertaining a single motivation of immigration remains too complex to determine because a variety of factors and goals have lead to this grand movement. Several issues arise from increased numbers of immigrants who may or may not be finding what they seek.
