Abortion is a very controversial topic nowadays. America debates on rather state abortion laws protect women or violate women’s rights. There are two sides to the topic : pro-choice and pro-life. The pro-life movement argues that even an undeveloped human life is consecrated and that the government should be required to protect it. Individuals who are pro-choice believe that individuals have unlimited freedom to their own reproductive systems, as long as they do not involve themselves in the decisions of others.

Abortion is one of the controversial political issues in United State of America today. It has generated much heat, thought, opinions and votes from different angles, school of thought, religions, economic status, and members of the government. So, what is abortion? Abortion is defined as the deliberate termination of a human pregnancy. Abortion can be in term of surgical or miscarriage. According to U.S National Library of Medicine, “a miscarriage is the spontaneous loss of a fetus before the 20th week of pregnancy.” A Miscarriage could be as a result of stress, genes, environmental toxins, alcohol or drug abuse, hormones problems, smoking, and diseases such as diabetes, reproductive organs’ weakness, and infections.

Every culture and society does not allow or consider abortion as a rightful act, and abortion is a name of destroying human life. Now a days our society faces several types of issues Abortion is one of the complicated issue for both ways health and society that’s why abortion become a very controversial issue that’s become debatable in politics. In addition, these researches will describe the different issues of abortion, such as, legal laws on abortion, restriction of abortions, rate of abortion and consequences of the abortion.

Whereas, those who believe that it is the woman’s right to make decisions about their own bodies, including abortion, without the consent of the government are called Pro Choice. Abortion is such a polarizing issue, that it always comes up during campaign season and in some races people win and lose elections because of their stances on abortion. Many women die due to unsafe abortion, which is illegal and performed by uneducated people.
