Informative Speech On Mountain Biking

Have you ever heard of rodeo? I’m sure you have but did you know that it’s a mixture of many events such as Barrel Racing, Bull Riding, and many, many more. In the text below I will be walking you through who invented rodeo and a couple of events in rodeo.

Imagine being at the top of the world, on a bitter cold mountain, over top of an enormous crowd. The lustrous lights are shining below on the massive jump created for the professional snowboard competition that will decide whether you win or lose the competition. I have dreamed of being a professional snowboarder as my dream job ever since I have been introduced into the sport of snowboarding. Being on top of the enormous slope and strapping into my bindings instantly makes me feel relaxed and puts a grin on my face. While gliding down the mountain I become focused and dialed in on my riding. Being a professional snowboarder as an occupation, I would compete in large competitions such as the X- Games or the Olympics to win prizes and gain popularity. The excitement from the crowd and the view from the course would give me goosebumps as I race to the finish. This would give me the rush of happiness and excitement every time I strap into my bindings to compete and make it seem like I would never work a day in my life. Competing in snowboard competitions as a professional snowboarder would be my passion and dream job in life all while traveling and being with friends.

Naturally historic, beautiful and entertaining, the Appalachian Mountains have long represented a place where life could be lived simply. It is a different lifestyle with its own charm. It is a place where time seems to slow down, and where no population has perfected the skills quite like the friendly people of these storied mountains.

When riding out in the west, the conditions are a lot more predictable and can be a very good time. Out west in the Wyoming or Colorado area, the snowfall is much greater and comes in a totally different shape and size. The Little Miami Scenic Trail is one of the best biking routes in the area, with mostly flat to rolling terrain enlivened by views of the Little Miami River, farmland, and quaint small towns. Many people are under the impression that just because riding a horse does not involve humans running around and playing with a ball, makes horseback riding a non-sport. I am here to tell you that is not the case at all. I have come to love bicycles in the course of the past year. I am especially fond of mountain bikes, including my own. Riding it opens up a whole new world of opportunities and challenges for me. I am still fairly fresh to the whole mountain biking scene, so I push myself to become better with more experience. Riding is an outlet; it is something I can channel pent up energy through. I love the sport because it is a full body, soul, and mind experience that affects all five of the senses.
