What is a gift? Some might say, a gift is something someone gives you that is free. The type of gift America has was brutally won. This gift is freedom which I think is the greatest gift that America gave to my generation. We all think freedom is “free” because we didn’t have to do anything to get it, but in reality, men and women lose their lives every day for our freedom. The United States has five branches of armed services, which include, Air Force, Army, Coast Guard, Marine Corps, and Navy. Each one of these branches have a special job. The Air Force focuses on flying, but barley any of the personnel actually fly. Most of the airmen and airwomen work on flight support missions, protecting bases, and constructing new airstrips. The gift to my generation is the us army because they are always there when we need them. They are always willing to fight when things go drastically rong so that peace is kept. Technology gives us further research opportunities, elaborate communication, and new, efficient instruments. Finally, our continued freedom has given us the ability to live freely, has abandoned slavery, and has put a stand in our history.

Our gift, is, nothing good really. I mean, with Trump as the United States President, how good can America be??? Anyways, back to the “gifts” part. I’d say that our unnaturally strong army is probably one of the best gifts of our generation ever!!!! To make more of an essay, I’ll list some pros and cons for this topic.
