About six million Jews were killed during the Holocaust. Anne Frank was one of these humans but her story is beyond incredible. Her family had been living in Amsterdam, Holland for many years and they had lived peacefully. When the Nazi’s invaded Holland their lives changed drastically. The Frank family, Van Daan family, and Dussel are forced to go into hiding in the small area above Mr. Frank’s work site. They lived there for two years, 1942-1944, until the Nazi’s found them. Throughout the play, Anne Frank’s story is powerful as she is transformed from a fearful child to a brave woman.
