Most women complain about the harsh side effects of birth control but they rather put up with them before they risk having an unplanned pregnancy. Some people think they know everything about birth control, but don’t know all about the things it can help and solve. Birth control also known as known as “the pill” are just daily pills that contain different hormones, it isn’t harmful to those who take it. From a teenage, girls should be allowed to get birth control without a parents’ permission. Birth control reduces the number of teen pregnancies, safer home life, show responsibility, and also reduces some health issues.

Modern use of birth control pills has given women a sense of independence, to gain employment and express their sexuality freely, while mid-twentieth usage of birth control came with an increased stigma, less access to the pill, and a positive and negative impact on marriages.

Birth control changes many young teenage girls’ lives for the better and should be available to all teenage girls throughout the United States. Teenage girls have a right to more programs that help educate them on birth control. Teenage girls have a right to be protected from unplanned pregnancies. Teenage girls have a right to have authority over their decisions as minority expanded. Teenage girls have a right to be comfortable with taking birth control. Teenagers should be encouraged to their rights by taking birth control.

One of birth control’s biggest shifts in the U.S came with the release of the new contraceptive pill and it not only shaped the view of women, but birth control also altered a woman’s economic status, religious views, and even her political status. The pill served as a liberating factor for women and helped women achieve sexual and professional self-realization.

Is birth control really making an impact? In today’s relationships women are taking birth control no matter how intimate the relationship is as a precautionary. It has been proven that birth control has helped teen pregnancy rates go down all over. So why is it that parents do not just hand the drug out as if it is a favor to them. Parents want to think that they can trust their child and that they are an angel in all eyes however, they do not want to receive an unexpected child. In my opinion Birth control is a way to help reduce the rising population especially for those of lower income, the drug is not quite guaranteed 100% and there are side effects that most don’t know about.

Firstly, Birth control pill is very complicated to use. Many females do not know how to use it clearly, so it makes some mistake, for instance, unwanted pregnancy.
