In order to become an effective leader, you first need to begin to lead by example. What are some of the characteristics of a good leader? Well, a good leader has essential skills that a qualified leader should portray. Interpersonal, conceptual and technical skills. These skills are very important in the strength of an organization. In essence, these skills are a way to measure one 's effectiveness in leadership. Doing so will allow a leader to be effective in the field. If an individual follows this philosophy the individual can be able to put together plans and strategies. By putting together effective plans and effective strategies an individual can then reach their desired organizational goals. A leader who is able to possess these traits makes it possible to formulate decisions, decisions that can be implemented because the individual can appreciate the responsibility of living out the organization 's objectives. But keep in mind, an efficient leader needs to be able to compromise and empathize with any condition the working environment has developed. It is important to ensure that objectives are achieved. Those around you determine success. If you want any organization to be strong and successful you need to know that you can delegate responsibilities to a subordinate, and believe that they will deliver. The goal is to create good relationships, in thus will enhance performance level.

Service delivery, a leader needs to be able to portray a sense of emotional stability. Because, within a leadership position, high levels of disappointment and stress are factored in. These attributes could lead to frustration.
