Decent Essays

For most of the students, including myself, December is our favorite month of the year because our School Christmas Holiday is waiting for us. After all the flights and hotel booked, the last thing we do is to take everything we need, and shove them all into the luggage with full of excitement; however, if you are traveling to a destination where you don’t know or speak the language, not being able to communicate can not only be frustrating, but sometimes it can even be a bit frightening. Nowadays, The world is becoming more interconnected, like the food we eat, the clothes we wear, the sports we play, the movie we watch and the music we listen to, we are all connected in some way. A language is a vital tool for human communication:
“In today era, the basic knowledge of a single or more language has become crucial. Language has become the major tool of communication between countries, cultural groups, varies companies and organizations, communities and friends” (Banga & Suri 181)
